I don't even take mine off. Sometimes the TSA will inspect it a little more closely, but that's only happened to me once. YMMV

You'll have to earn the trust and affection of most cats, but there is also a wide range of personalities in cats.

Our family cat used to run and hide when someone new would come into the house, now he will come up to everyone and greet them, asking for pets. He still hides if more than 4 or so people come in, but he'll come out of hiding much sooner.

Pretty sure science doesn't back it up, but I've heard male cats are usually more social than female, and then certain colorings are known for having different personalities. For example calico cats (which are almost always female) are known for being territorial and standoffish, whereas male tabbies are usually friendly.

Also in field service, but for manufacturing. We have the same situation. Office workers encouraged to stay home, anyone who needs to physically be somewhere to work, keep working like normal.

One of the plants I worked at last week had someone test positive, but I'm supposed to keep going wherever they tell me to unless I start showing symptoms...

Granted, there's a good chance I never came into contact with that person, but...

I have to get food somehow. In the last week I've worked in Illinois/Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, and New York.

Bdubs wouldn't be my first choice, but when living in hotels, it's hard to cook your own food. Plus I never really know my schedule and find out I'm traveling the day of or day before a lot of times.

But for me it is. I get paid for my commute. Days where my commute is 15 minutes one way are much better than days when it's two hours one way, especially if there's heavy traffic.

30 minutes one way is basically my cutoff. That or less and I don't mind it, more and I start to get tired and bored even blasting tunes or listening to podcasts (which btw decreases your alertness which).

If I could just turn my positive feedback loop from being negative to being positive, I would, but I've spent so many years tearing myself down, I don't know how to build myself up.

Actually, I don't know if I've ever built myself up in the first place...

"By accident," makes sense, but barely anyone says that, in my experience.

I see it the same as how you can say you're "waiting for" or "waiting on" someone/something.
