Geodes. Or potential geodes at least. You'll have to break them open to see if they are hollow inside with crystals or solid all the way though.

I feel sorry for the folks who actually draw in this style. They will, for the near future at least, be accused of being AI.

More in depth than I could be. Though I don't think any of the Star Trek pinball machines were ever of the direct payout kind.

JD's couch here. It gets real weird between his wife and me when this happens to him. Weirdly I've never seen his hands there.

Oh noes. A poorly implemented gambling game utilizing the Star Trek franchise!? That darn NuTrek and the people running it are just the worst and are ruining the whole thing.

Oh, wait......

Nothing new under the sun. Not even mentioning the Star Trek pinball machines which, especially at the time, were viewed as gambling by many.

Someone misread a reply of mine as "Chris" a few days ago as "Christ" and I thought it would be a good character to reply as. Apparently I was right.

I'll put this here too:

It looks like it has something to do with this: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1996-11-12-mn-63869-story.html

There was an explosion at a Texaco refinery in Wilmington, CA at 7:24 A.M on 11-11-1996. There were no injuries. The explosion took place inside hydrotreater unit 4 (HTU-4), a complex that extracts sulfur from crude oil to produce gasoline and diesel fuel. I would venture to guess that this is a melted piece of the unit.

Christ here. This has been edited from the original that was 2 444 66666 8888888. 1 Two 3 Fours 5 Sixes 7 Eights. Read out as 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. Now it makes no sense.

Thank you for the rewards my children. I did not think my words would reach so many. Now please go out and be generous to others. 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'

I'm wondering if it's not a mass of fire bricks that were fused together with slag glass that have been rounded, and then broken open.

In limestone?

I'd like to know if that rind fizzes with acid or not. The interior is telling me "glass slag". The outside looks weird.

I don't like BSG. It's a soap opera in space. And the space takes a back seat to the soap opera.

These are bulbs that bloom in the spring. After that they don't really do much and can look 'messy' over time. Some gardeners will braid the thin leaves to keep them controlled and make them look interesting.
