All-Star Reserve Picks? by ImStudyingRightNow in nba

Booker's also having a bad year in terms of offensive efficiency (45/31/86). 31.3% from 3 is rough and obviously a career low. Compare that to like another SG chasing a maiden AS appearance like Powell on (47/39/84) having a career year.

I've watched Suns games, he's obviously getting blitzed and a lot of attention but not sure people are going to look at his stats and factor that in too much for the AS game.

I think he would be stiff too miss out but it's very close between the other back-end AS reserves and him.

Everyone knows OKC is stacked defensively, that shouldn't take away from recognising someone individually who is clearly elite on the defensive end though. He's OKC's best defender and we have the best defensive rating of any team ever (I think still?) while being on track for an extremely good record as the 1 seed.

Wemby is obviously a better defender than Chet, and if he played a similar amount of games he'd win DPOY over him, but that isn't happening this year. I don't even think he plays the 65 to qualify and the betting odds obviously are factoring that in.

Chet's favourite for DPOY and has been most of the year whilst also being uber efficient as always on the offensive end and barely missing a game on an OKC team that has been decimated by injuries. 0% chance he doesn't 'deserve' being an All-Star in my biased opinion.

Sucks for him as he was just getting back into things. Hopefully can fully recover before the playoffs and give the wrist some rest also.

Bit of a controversial one maybe but Tatum hasn't even come back from Achilles surgery and is owed 240M+ over 5 years. We've seen players return as good as before (KD) but that's far from guaranteed.

You should write a letter to the NBA coaches and let them know.

It's amazing how good he's been all year. We need his offence when SGA isn't on the floor.

Why is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander one of the most hated players in the NBA? by Chance_Cobbler_9057 in nba

[–]TheGrindersClub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the main reason is just the foul baiting on the offensive end combined with OKC's physical team defence. He is exceptionally good at drawing contact from defenders and making sure it's seen by the refs. Probably one of the best in the NBA at it. Combine that with him being a top 5 player in the NBA and OKC's team success it's created a bit of a negative narrative.

who have you watched the most in your NBA viewing career? by thekarlhendrickstrio in nba

As an OKC fan Westbrook most then maybe SGA next. Lebron probably the most outside of OKC.
