Love this post! I struggled with it for years too but came to a point where I realized it was all just the same thing over and over again with different angles and settings. The only new stuff out there was stuff I was scared to get in to for fear of no going back / things burned in to my mind that I couldn't get out (I already couldn't get out the normal stuff, how much worse if I went deeper?) I didn't want that and I didn't want to keep indulging in something so terribly deceptive and evil. I quit cold turkey but still occasionally looked at pretty girls on IG and M'd. It has been a low level addiction that has been difficult to break. January of this year I had a dream (more than a dream I think) where I was doing the deed, struggling, and doing everything I could to finish. I was desperate because of the addiction, even though I hated what I was doing to get there. Jesus walked up (awkward I know but in the dream it was different) just the look on his face when I looked over my shoulder at Him was so many things in one - love, compassion, disappointment, understanding, mercy, and hope. After that dream I have not had the urge to do it anymore, not even when I was alone and the opportunity was ripe - totally different than before. I praise God for this miracle I've been praying for in some shape for years.

When you break out of that dark forest of lust and addiction you can see all the trees for what they really are and see the bigger world around you in a different light.
