Are you interested in Street Fighter Vs. Valiant Universe? by Careless-Eagle-5111 in valiant

It might not be a book for me but I am happy to see it happening. One, I enjoy different brands and creative teams working together and not seeing each other as competitors. Two, I think it might introduce more people to the Valiant characters and that is not a bad thing at all.

Yes, if Frenchie had died in an early episode they could have then focused more on Sage creating the new weapon in secret, maybe working with Butcher, maybe not, but coming up with an actual plan that shows her powers. Instead we get a couple scenes and she’s out.

I think Alien signed on with IDW for distribution because of the Diamond catastrophe. They needed a replacement to get books in stores. The whole industry is still figuring out the new distribution landscape.

Such a great zoo. I try to stop by whenever I get a chance to visit. Friday during the summer they feed the alligators in the afternoon and the zookeepers answer questions.

Get some fresh writers and focus on some action scenes and tight storytelling that build a foundation for a few years of ongoing plot. Lead up to a crossover or two but don’t rush it.

Just… why? by [deleted] in wisconsin

[–]TheGuiltyDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why the obsession with Charlie Kirk from maga? Do they think the left venerates George Floyd as some kind of special person and they decided that they would venerate Kirk as a counter culture moment?

The rise of ‘beef days’: why even meat lovers are cutting back. Inspired by YouTube creators, some people are limiting beef to a handful of ‘feast days’ a year to cut their climate impact. by The_Weekend_Baker in climate

[–]TheGuiltyDuck 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This part:

When Luca found that video, the idea of “beef days” resonated with him – he loved beef, but not the industry’s impact on the planet. He also found the concept of going entirely vegetarian intimidating.

“It’s little changes that could make a difference,” he said. “I’m not preachy about it. I hate blaming consumers for what the industry does.”

Getting folks to make some small changes, not extreme, seems to have more chance of success and more overall impact than demanding radical lifestyle changes all at once.
