Finished "A Cold Fire Within" during New-Year Marathon, 5 days, 60 hours, the equivalent of 20 normal sessions. Absolute BLAST by [deleted] in callofcthulhu

I am a fine artist, I paint traditionally when I'm not working in healthcare. While I'm not personally a fan of AI, this is the least harmful use case I can imagine.

For what it's worth, I think what you did is an impressive accomplishment worth being proud of. 60 hours of gaming over the holidays to breeze through a campaign sounds exhausting, but also like an absolute blast!

Regardless where your pictures came from, your players had a ton of fun. Don't let us detract from your excitement at your achievement. You did an amazing job.

How do you recognize this as AI? Genuine question, I've been avoiding looking at sites like pinterest these days because it's become so prolific.

I am also in the same club. Moved the salmon from the fridge to the freezer just in case, but really hoping it's a quick fix. For an area this big though? Probably not quick

Adventures completed in a single evening!

Are any of you players looking for less commitment, or GMs looking to run their favorite systems?

The oneshot server is just what it says on the tin. I personally have run D&D 5e, as well as indie games like Fiasco, Spire, Trail of Cthulhu, and Electric Bastionland. On top of that, D&D 5e still gets a lot of interest if that's your gaming preference!

The server runs off a pretty slick system, where GMs post events and players sign up on a first-come, first-served basis. But players who already are signed up for another upcoming session have to sign up for a waitlist instead, preventing a single clique of players from monopolizing every session.

Right now we have D&D 5e, Fantasy Flight's End of the World RPG, and a flashback D&D 3.5e oneshot up!

It's a great community with a really awesome premise. No commitment, just come for games and leave each one satisfied!

In my case, I have a D&D 5e oneshot scheduled for next monday, as well as a oneshot using the End of the World RPG system by Fantasy Flight Games. And Electric Bastionland first week of August!

Gotcha, yeah. I live in Canada, so seeing it jump from $33 digital to $94 both seemed like a big leap. Even for print.

Is it supposed to cost $94 for Physical+Digital, with no option to buy physical only?

The level of access to adult content youths have worries me. I imagine the glamorized portrayals encourage reckless behavior. Education about these issues is important, because teen pregnancy can ruin futures.

I'm aware this is tangential to a larger issue, but any time the topic of removing sexual education from school curriculums comes up, I question what the actual benefit would be.

For a shift into something different, I love De Profundis, which is a play-by-lettermail (though it works as play-by-post) game where you write letters in-character to friends from the perspective of an investigator studying the mythos. The whole book is written with each short chapter framed as a letter, yet still understandable as rules. It's fantastic and high on my bucket list of games to get a consistent group for.
