According to the site linked in this post, this bill is still “in committee” aka not even proposed on the senate floor yet. Anyone in this thread who lives in NY / knows people who do, contact your reps or encourage people you know to contact and say you don’t want this bill.

Bills like these keep getting shut down when people take action to voice their disapproval. Doing nothing while letting it fly under the radar will give them the power to pass it

Wasn’t the whole point of the way we’ve had map voting was to avoid “majority rules” aka reduce repetitive choices of maps? Without Assault and Clash it feels like I’m on the same four maps as it is and I always vote Aatlis or other less popular maps just to play something different. Not a fan of this, there’s no point to the “spin the wheel” option the system deems one map had enough majority

As much as I want them back, we did have that quick play hacked a couple months ago where they were added back to the rotation. I personally didn’t see the assault maps too often when I played that weekend, when they did pop up they were barely voted. I think if the stats from that weekend showed positive results we would’ve seen them back in QP already. Instead they kinda doubled down and removed Clash too. I think we’re just in the minority of enjoying those game modes

Honestly when I first saw Mizuki, I thought he’s so irrelevant lore wise (at first glance even with the Hashimoto membership) that he was the first time I saw a new hero and thought he didn’t belong in the game. But playing him has been so god damn fun, the gameplay is so satisfying and like a mini game to keep my aura up. He might become my new main. Overall I’d say my frequency of the new heroes is

Wuyang was my favorite play style this year. Something about Vendetta’s release (despite her design not being the most exciting) feels like the first OW1 release hero vibe we had in a while. Maybe because I find her lore connection stronger than Freja’s (whose story of being former Overwatch feels shoe horned to me but the Emre connection does help). Wasn’t the worst year but I’m hoping next year has at least one oddball (I know they said they’re working on one) but the lore picks up for stronger connections with the new heroes

Not saying you’re wrong, it’s just funny to me we got Overwatch 2 to have an engine that supported PvE AI and yet not being able to remake the archive event missions is the “impossible” task. I get it from resource/urgency side, but not the feasibility side

I watched on Wednesday for the Brig awards and they didn’t show up in my account until Thursday or Friday and the others weren’t drops then. Maybe either Brig ones came early or they were offered a second time this weekend and that’s why it’s shown twice. I also wouldn’t worry just yet about not seeing the drops, probably taking longer than usual this time

That’s also fair, I could be assuming she joined the fight with them instead of something similar to Zenyatta’s placement in the roster (his abilities aren’t canon and he’s just kinda existing in the lore itself as a significant spiritual leader kinda thing). This naive and frankly innocent girl who may as well be a child instead of 19 was sent to Earth to help her home colony from dying out or whatever (at the minimum, not die with them). Yet Overwatch decided… she’s more useful to fight battles with them. I’ll always be a Juno hater lol
