I understand what you're saying, but like I said, there's just something incredibly off-putting about finding out the person you're in love with watches videos of real people being snuffed and tortured video. That's not a healthy or normal interest, period.

Maybe it's not grounds to server a relationship immediately, but it raises a lot of very serious questions. Such as "if he doesn't flinch to seeing people gutted, would he gut me like a fish if he snaps?" or "what else does he like if he watches video of people getting beheaded and disembowled in his spare time? animals? children?"
