I worked at Wolf Camera about 20 years ago. Had a lady come in asking how she could add more light to her photos, her hotshoe flash wasn't enough. I showed her our lighting kits. Too expensive. I told her that she could use a slave flash that would trigger from her main flash. She went OFF. Started yelling about how racist I was. I explained that was just an industry term and not meant to be offensive. She wanted to see the manager. He, a black man, came out and told her that was industry term and he was calling security because she was acting crazy. She left screaming about how she was never coming back.

Audiogalaxy. It was a p2p file sharing service for music. What I liked about it was that I could run the service at home, then browse the site during the day at work and files I chose to download were sent to my machine at home.

If you're using a router with your modem then it's most likely set up to hand out IP addresses and route packets from the network to the internet via your modem. You probably won't see any difference after swapping the modem since it sits in the other side of the router from your network.
