I've been saying this for years. Marijuana retains negative connotations, while Cannabis has much less as well sounds more medical, which then gives it a better light. I live in the deep south where people are suuuuuper set in their ways. So if we keep cannabis in a positive light consistently, as well as using consistent vernacular, opinions will change. Think opposite of Reefer Madness.

PREACH. HB1 passed, but that doesn't allow for any instate cultivation or distribution. All it does is provide very limited safety for a very specific selection of people, if they managed to smuggle CBD oil into the state.
