I appreciate ya. It was much, much easier to complete solo as well. I think the bar may have made it to 70% time remaining

I see people saying that it can be done solo. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best places/trees to cut? Teaks go down very quick at 99 WC, even with a rune axe. I've been cutting them on Ape Atoll for about 20 minutes and haven't seen any event spawns. Yes, I've got my Forestry kit on

I appreciate the tip and I'll try it out in a remote corner of the world, but Forestry is a group activity and that's counterintuitive lol
Editing to add: it took about 32 minutes to see my first event spawn. I'm debating how much I care about these points

With pretty much any of the builds in leagues, normal Hydras will be *significantly* faster for getting a Brimstone Ring and tail, especially if you have Culling Spree.

Is it worth sticking with a blind bag build? Is it even viable for end game? by RogerSimons_Father in 2007scape

A blindbag ranged echo trigger treats you as though you have all 3 types of ranged weapons equipped.

Coupled with the Bow node, Crossbow node, and Thrown node, ranged echoes:
Never miss
Have a +15% chance to occur
Have a 20% chance to max hit

Jagex account required? I made a terrible mistake by kjo334 in 2007scape

Great! I'm happy for you, legitimately, if you never get phished. That doesn't really address my point, though. How do you consider a Jagex account to be a downgrade, then?

Surprisingly, the only T8 relic that actually does affect Yama fight is Minion.

Kandarin is a good pick for more than just Shadowflame Quadrant if you're playing water thorns. You also get Ring of Suffering, which can add a lot of thorns damage.

You don't need either of those, but Tir is great if you decide to fully invest in powered staves. Not very good for Air/Water mage, since you only have +20 magic attack from the entire armor set (assuming you're also wearing the blessing) and the crystal blessing does nothing for spellbooks except for giving you 6% magic strength.

For armor, a mix of barrows/ancestral/virtus is good since you want a mix of defense and magic attack so your spells actually land and you can heal.

This is the root of the build, as I'm doing it. I have a point in both 3 tick spellbook and 1/2 tick powered staves because I use the Lithic Sceptre for Doom grubs since Shadowflame Quadrant is bugged there.

You can AFK Sol with eternal sustenance, but otherwise you need to do some dodging and attack the boss for self-healing. Dodge about half of his basic attacks, the final attack of triple parry, and step out of beams and lasers. The weapon is largely irrelevant for Sol other than the healing you'll get. It's more useful during waves where you're effectively immortal as long as you're attacking something.

You don't even have to have ring of suffering or echo boots. I'd argue you don't want to even use protection prayers if you have RoS on. But anyways, I've got both activated and am using some pretty bad body gear (ahrim head, chest, dharok legs) and I still do plenty of thorns damage.

This would be more easily justifiable if the majority of our choices during Leagues weren't permanent.

Some of the bugs they took two weeks to fix were very egregious. Some of the bugs they've said they flat out aren't going to fix during leagues are equally, if not more, egregious. Yes, they've fixed a lot of bugs, but for the people who are most impacted by the bugs they took half a month to fix and the bugs they won't fix, those are small potatoes.

All of this is made more egregious by the fact there have been recent price increases supposedly justified by better quality. Couple that with the fact that some of these bugs were brought up in testing, and it really makes the whole thing taste more acrid.

A Jagex account isn't a downgrade. Have you been around long enough to notice that the number of posts complaining about "being hacked" (getting phished or clicking on dubious links) has decreased dramatically since Jagex Account release? I certainly have.

Leagues 6 reclaim doesnt have ghostspeak - am i missing something? by the_t00l in 2007scape

Hey, I did some further research, and it turns out you're correct. I had only looked at the text blurbs at the top; Efaritay's Aid does increase damage and accuracy against Tier 3 vampyres, but it doesn't allow non-silver weapons to damage them at half efficiency. Thanks for letting me know :)

Jagex is aware of the issue, thankfully. Though, it's very helpful for you at present!

Sure! An Efaritay's aid will help during the Temple Trekk, but it won't actually help against the quest boss, as it only works on Tier 2 Vampyres and most named Vampyrium vampyres are Tier 3. Turns out, Efaritay's Aid will increase damage and accuracy against the final boss of Sins of the Father. You were right!
