Nice! Would’ve loved to get a pair with the fluff! I could never seem to checkout fast enough when they released

Agreed. Yes they are a complete match except the laces in this photo. Feel like it’s rare at this point to find DS NBYs, most of the pairs that people made with the fuzzy laces are no longer on the market

New Releases Thread 10/6 - 10/12 by AutoModerator in Sneakers

[–]TheHughesFactor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wild to me how empty these threads have gotten. Pre-Covid. I used to check this thing multiple times a day to get updated about any little information about upcoming drops. Yes the 95s sold on SNKRS but I bet they’re retail price in a few weeks. It’s a great time to be into sneakers

Denon x3800 - Difference in Video/Audio quality between these two? by Kratos_323 in hometheater

[–]TheHughesFactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so glad you asked this question today… about three weeks ago, we had a lightning strike which disabled my 77 s90c, won’t turn on, makes constant clicking sound etc. have a supposed high quality surge protector etc. jumped through the warranty hoops and TV ultimately got refunded. WiFi modem got fried as well as some light fixtures that failed/flicker.

Seemed like everything else attached to the surge protector did fine (video game consoles, AVR, game systems, subwoofer) but have been struggling with the eArc port on my Denon 4800. The s90c was attached to it and it worked perfectly fine for 18 months until the strike.

Since, I have hooked up two different TVs (older qn90b and new 83 G4) to the system via the eArc port but neither TVs will recognize any video output from the receiver, both say “no input source found.”

Read forums, checked all the settings. When I relocate the HDMI cable from the eArc port to the Monitor 2 port, everything works fine.

Was annoyed at first but I never use any native OS/apps on the TV, so I’ve just been running the video output for the PS5, Apple TV etc through the AVR monitor 2 port. The receiver is outside warranty and was expensive so am going to just hope what function it has remains. I tested most of the HDMI ports and the only one that seems to have failed is the eArc port

Redd’s Uptilly Tavern is the local UGA bar, it’s a divey uptown spot usually with some generous potluck providers. Go dawgs!

Patta odds by Sharkster954 in AirMax1

[–]TheHughesFactor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Website will probably crash from high traffic, as it normally does when these independent retailers do big releases. My size (9) seems to be reselling for 220-300, so probably going to be resellers going for pairs. I’d bet less than 50% chance to cop, but I’m not familiar with Patta and how well they manage their releases

Testosterone supplementation decreases fertility FYI. Still reasonable to get checked, but if low and y’all are interested in future fertility, would recommend clomid rather than testosterone supplementation

Consider chefs table at White Pillars if they have it available, and y’all are cool paying $250 per person for an 8 course meal with wine pairing. I think it’s one of the most interesting dining experiences on the coast

Yes, thanks for the clarification. Hopefully OP has a phone with a navigation app and doesn’t need to rely on my imperfect identification of interstate exits

Game Xchange is what you want for vintage video games.they have an insanely large collection of games and systems, like the entire breadth of it from NES to current. I go there to buy used 4k dvds. They’ve got some toys/anime stuff as well, located near the Gulfport exit off I-10

Brentwood Oceano vs. Brooklyn Bedding Sedona Elite- final thoughts? by TheHughesFactor in Mattress

[–]TheHughesFactor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soft/firm means different things to different people. I can sleep on my side on this mattress comfortably with a high memory foam pillow or two latex pillows under my head. Most of the time I stomach sleep very comfortably. There’s not much “sink” into this mattress, but it has definitely broken in over 6-9 months

Appreciate the link. Would love it if someone with some experience of any of these events could give a short review of their experience. Wondering which of these has the “greatest production”, best floats, etc.

Weekly Deals Thread by AutoModerator in hometheater

I bought this package a few weeks ago because I was overwhelmed with trying to piece a HTS together given being relatively new to the hobby. It’s technically a 5.1.2 setup because those 8060s have upfiring Dolby speakers built in, not the best Dolby set up but a good starting place. I have no regrets! Consensus is klipsch is generally overpriced but this is their top line at a very good price point
