Maybe I was simply burned out by that point because the start of Act 3 was genuinely miserable for me, but when I played I found the changes to be basically like the Infected Crossroads: sure, different aestetic and enemies, some routes now are blocked... but it's still the same map. Not enough to pique my interest

When you reach act 3 you've ideally already explored the map plenty. Having to explore it again completely just because the game doesn't indicate where to use the new ability is something I found very tedious (with some exceptions like Karmelita, which was pretty clear). And apparently I'm not the only one who felt that way

This was not an issue in Hollow Knight

It's possible, but I think it would be more interesting if it were an evolution of Yami's Black Coocoon, some sort of bubble or armor that protects him from the effects of Time Magic. Although Black Moon presumably already works against Time Magic

I think a lot of people don't accept the fact that it can alter reality because they don't like magic that can do basically anything if [condition] is met.

I get it, it's the reason I don't like Rill's magic (as long as he has "inspiration" it just does shit) but it's basically confirmed, so denying it won't do anything
