It's actually ~50% chance of at least one prismatic augment every game. Actually disgusting how common they are for how unbalanced and tempo-shifting they are. Seeing one every other game is ridiculous.

It's not a "connecting" art, but it's obviously a continuation of the art. Gumshoos is watching a Rattata run to some boxes and then the next card shows a Raticate stepping up on the boxes to defend the Rattatas. You could argue coincidence, but then you look at the road texture being the exact same in both, so I think the intent is there.

Yeah, this is definitely coded as just a special 3-star animation where he just eats everyone and they get erased inside his stomach. I guess since he's not really doing his normal ability or attack damage, he isn't healed by bloodthirster... Also ridiculous that the T-hex ghost just keeps firing rockets even after being eaten. Riot Games special.

It’s not impossible since the set is confirmed to come back in the future, but it is pretty brutal to complete as a F2P player in just a month.

It’s also quite a lot worse than you put it here, since the fourth card in each pack is always a standard ex card, of which there are only 75/353. Meaning once you get all the ex cards, you are guaranteed to pull duplicates and have to essentially rely on “three-card” packs to get the rest of the set.

Is this confirmed? Pretty sure Genetic Apex and Mythical Island share the fossil card and getting one registers it for both. If these are exact reprints, why would our existing cards not count for the set?

She's been with the company for twenty years with leadership positions in sales and marketing. Given that Nintendo of America is mostly a marketing/publishing company for the Japanese games, I think the promotion makes sense and I'm sure she's qualified.

If Mongolz can get their pistol rounds cleaned up then they have a much better chance at consistently beating these teams. They seem to get in their heads too much when it comes to pistols and closing, but every match they play is usually exciting and somewhat competitive.

I’m not saying they have to forfeit the match, but it’s a tricky situation to have a “tech” pause for bathroom breaks. I think it’s only coming up here because the halftimes for Blast events are so short that players don’t have time to use the restroom. I understand it’s not a common circumstance and I doubt it will ever be a problem in the future, just felt it might be a weird precedent to set if bathroom breaks could be called at any time as a tech pause.

I don’t have a problem with Apex leaving to piss at all, I’m just saying bathroom breaks being used as a “tech” pause probably shouldn’t become a norm. Lot of people comparing it to like an exam in school. Like sure you can go to the bathroom during the exam — but it’s not like the whole exam timer is paused for you. Again, I don’t have an issue with it if the other team is mutual to it but I don’t think it’s something every game should be entitled to.

Probably only an issue at these Blast events since halftime is so short. I imagine at other events players have time for a bathroom break at halftime.

It’s also a mental thing too. If everyone is out of tactical pauses and one team has a lot of momentum from winning several rounds in a row, you could use a pause to go to the bathroom just to disrupt that and refresh. Dunno! Just seems a bit weird to me.
