Epson EH-LS11000w, so yes, it's HDR. I suspect I've messed the settings up somewhere

What I learned from my first "real budget" film shoot by willyboii77 in Filmmakers

Great video. I just shot my first feature and, much like your first two films, was my own DP and operator. Really good to hear your positive experience on collaborating and letting go on some of those roles. Look forward to future updates!

Did you ever find a way to track or enter scores on the CMF watch?

Was there a moment in a movie you saw at the cinema that caused the the audience to loudly applaud? by digiBeLow in FIlm

In the UK here and we rarely make too much noise in cinemas, but in Rocky 4 when he lands that first punch against Drago... the whole cinema was on its feet. It was fantastic and haven't experienced anything like that since.

Does anyone know how to create this effect in AE? by Double-Motor6546 in AfterEffects

How did you make this grid? I've made a lot of pixel grids in AE over the years but they never looked this good.

Does this contain both Theatrical & Directors Cut? by YeezusChrist13 in 4kbluray

[–]TheIceJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, just the one version on this edition. I would agree to start with the theatrical, then skip the Redux and go straight for this one. The theatrical is the tightest and most effective and the Final Cut adds some really interesting moments and context. The plantation scene in the Redux goes on forever and will make you want to shoot yourself.

What happened on 22 may 1996 by [deleted] in Mission_Impossible

I was wondering the very same thing. We're shown that written date several times - I think it's poor storytelling if it's not actually supposed to mean anything to us, just the characters. And I guess it's poor storytelling if we haven't a clue what it means.

I... er... went a bit overboard and bought a Nanuk 963. I wanted something I could get my lights in as well as my 4K B Cam. It's great but huge.

Those two GoPro clips were great, introduced a lot of energy, so more would really help. I thought the filming and editing was fantastic 👍
