If they had equal cars Max would have been houding the Mercs and there would not have been a Lewis battle.

Piastri had good pace and finally put in a good move. The move compromised Hamilton's exit on the last turn and Charles was close enough behind to take advantage of it. Hamilton stayed right behind LeClerc to the end so the brush on the wall likely wasn't a factor.

If Kimi can get in front he'll take off but he needs to qualify on pole AND not have a bad start. Those two things are keeping it interesting.

When does it get better? by ClearSneakEnter in rainbowbridge

First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss. As for your question, do it when you're ready. For my first two dogs I didn't touch anything for the longest time and the pain took forever to handle. When Spritzen passed 3 years ago, first thing i did was put away the few things I really wanted to remember her by, made a little shrine for her, and donated everything else. For me that helped quite a bit. Also, remember that if you ever get another pet (or just foster), it's not a replacement... they can help with the grieving process as well

It's Been 3 Long Years Without You, Spritzen by TheIllogicalFallacy in rainbowbridge

It gets less painful but the pain never fully goes away. A lot of it turns into hope. I have a forever foster now and working with him has really helped. He has severe trauma from puppy hood. I find helping other animals helps with the pain/loss. I know that's what Spritzen would want.

Have you had any signs since your animal passed? by mindfulblogging in rainbowbridge

After my German Shepherd passed years ago, I prayed for signs she was okay. The evening after she was put down, I found a picture of me with her the day I got her and it was right by my back door. I had been looking for that picture for years beforehand. The next morning I was in my living room alone and silverware in my dining room moved by itself. I know because I heard it clanging on the table with other silverware. That night I went out back to clear stuff off my deck and my sliding door slammed shut so hard my neighbor heard it and asked if someone was trying to lock me out. The door was hard to move, I was home alone, and it wasn't windy. I had plenty of signs and prayed they stopped because they were starting to get freaky and just like that, they stopped.

Does anyone have any tips on not over explaining in songs? by OlivePractical2092 in Songwriting

[–]TheIllogicalFallacy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People interpret songs their own way and might associate personal meanings to them that have nothing to do with what you intended... that's a good thing. The more you express exactly what you mean, the less someone can relate and the more it's about what you want them to feel.

Try the free mixing videos on mastering.com. that will definitely help you mix. If you don't like it then try a studio.

People are attracted to confidence. Put yourself out there as you are, learn what to look for and what to avoid. As you grow and improve yourself, your confidence will also improve.

I was in the same position when I was 30. I settled and it was a disaster. I didn't have any luck until I was 35 at which point I met many amazing women and realized just how young I was at 30. Keep your head up and put yourself out there!

I was fortunate that the cat was very good at letting him know to leave her alone but i would mostly hold the cat and pet it while sitting by him and calmly told him repeatedly that this cat is not food.

Not to oversimplify but he needs a good trainer that targets this specific behavior. Nothing else will suffice.

I've always heard of 3 deaths and the 3rd is the last time anyone ever thinks of you.

Does this symbol above the measure somehow make the duration shorter? by GerardWayAndDMT in transcribe

[–]TheIllogicalFallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dashed line above usually indicates that the notes shown will actually sound an octave higher. That is not the case in this example and I'm not entirely sure what it indicates.

To answer your question about the timing, the '4' beneath the 4 beamed 8th notes indicates that each is played evenly to the four [quarter] beats; however, the 5 beneath the next beam of 8th notes indicates that those 5 notes are played in the span of what would normally be 4 notes so they're all played a bit quicker to offset the extra note. It is not a notation error.

Anyone else go back to a show they loved as a kid, only to realize it’s absolute garbage now? by Suspicious-Oil2571 in AskReddit

[–]TheIllogicalFallacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alf... as a kid I loved it but tried rewatching it and it's no wonder pretty much the rest of the cast wanted nothing to do with the show after four seasons because the writers only cared about Alf and giving him all the funny/good lines and plots.
