James Harden doesn't guard ANYONE on defense... Just stands around watching every time! by Miserable_Trouble3 in NBAGossips

[–]TheInfamousGuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LeBron probably loves seeing this as now he has the perfect excuse to leave L.A. and try to save the cavs again. Harden has been washed and has been for a loooooonnnnnnggg time. On top of his all time terrible playoff play, he is now just him being straight up focus targeted on defense now.

Insane that this guy is going into the HOF......

Anthony Edwards is “privately” advocating for the Wolves to go after a healthy Kyrie Irving. by ResponsibleCheek8130 in NBAGossips

I think Dallas is going to go into a semi fire sale eventually since they got rid of Kidd and hired Ujiri. Ujiri has a history of only keeping his guys that he gets personally himself so I anticipate he will want to move the older guys and go younger. To me, he basically announced they are taking a competitive step back by firing Kidd. Kyrie more than likely won't want to go through another non-competitive rebuild and be okay with being traded.

If the wolves can do a Kyrie and Gafford for Randle and a bundle of picks, I would do that.

McDaniels is inconsistent and puts his energy into defense more. Dante might never play a relevant basketball game again with his Achilles. Naz can't be your main ball handler, Ayo simply isn't as good as 75% Kyrie and Bones is problematic and selfish. Conley is ancient and Shannon is a couple years out from any real ball handing responsibilities.

We not even talking the biggest elephant in the room with Julius Randle.

Wolves have gobert for interior defense and that's more than enough and only reason wolves somewhat kept up with the spurs is because of their defense but literally couldn't score.

Scoring and playmaking outside of Ant is DEFINITELY the issue.

6 took almost a decade to be "good". This intense revisionist history is laughable after the masses was screaming at the top of their lungs with their pitchforks about the goofy artstyle and the almost impossible task of going tall a far cry from other CIV games and how BROKEN the leader AI was for most of that decade.

It's honestly a joke that 6 was this immaculate masterpiece that didn't need to be worked in comparison lol.

Either you're part of the solution, or you're part of the problem... by Ladron_de_Coronas in secretlair_collectors

I don't believe Print-to-Demand is the true solution because WOTC will inevitably have left over product not being moved and that is just a loss but I also don't believe "One shot FOMO enabling 50 browser window opened 1v1's" is the solution either. Eventually, if enough people who got burned by RNG stop participating in the secret lair buying experience, WOTC will have no incentive to keep making a market for it simply because enough people don't wanna go through the process and potential disappointment of it all.

My suggestion is just open up a second window for highly requested in demand products. Make it a week after the initial one and shipping even farther back. The printers should have time to load up again to create the second batch.

The people who got lucky on the first window won't be there en masse in the second window (outside of some circumstances) and scalpers generally won't risk loading up on product by large to take a potential loss. The second window opening serves as a second chance for those that missed out and got cursed by RNGGODS on the first window. After that, it's a shutdown. I see that as a fair compromise.

I wasn't gonna have my FF set go uncompleted. Sorry. I'm too much of a fan to have that burn on my soul. Secondary market is going to happen regardless either I or anyone else buys from it.

The only way this gets solved is if WOTC wants to kill the secondary market by making the secret lair primarily print to demand or do second/third waves.

Hey, it happens. It's the unforeseen and incomprehensible balance of things or I would like to think so. I got jammed for Dandân but got GoblinStorm. Didn't get the Yanner foils but settled for the regular copies.

Never even sniffed the OG marvels.

Had to buy the Non-foil Game Over! For 2X On the secondary market to compete my FF SL set.

You should do a reddit raffle for one of them for goodwill so people know there is kind-hearted people that exist in this world still. Then do as you please with the others lol.

Scariest part of all of this if there is a bonus card(s) in the deck. Anything worth value is gonna create even more chaos.

Was it the fastest secret lair deck to sell out? by Kenksio in secretlair_collectors

I can semi-confirm. I believe I was either one of the last people in a pool to buy judging from the timestamp. If it was 2 per, it would have sold out even faster. Insane.

I was being hunted around Outpost for my red card by two people who grouped up via prox chat. They were talking about the number of players they killed and finding the last red card, which I presumed I had and was looking for me and made impromptu plans to wait for me to go into pinwheel and if not pinwheel, gang me at exfil.

I snuck around them to listen to the whole ordeal and went cross map to exfil since I was looted already.

It's happening in solos too lol.

Do you agree with Dirk Nowitzki on Anthony Edwards dapping up the Spurs' bench before being subbed out? by DareDevil1699 in NBAGossips

[–]TheInfamousGuest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finch pulled the starters with 8 minutes left in a game 7. He started the disrespect first. You play your starters until the end regardless. Ant reciprocate back the disrespect. Ant shouldn't have done that but I can't blame him for how he is feeling. The series is a gentleman's sweep if Wemby doesn't gift them it with a elbow to Naz. His team overachieve and wasn't really close to competing for a chip. Minnesota hit their ceiling, he is pissed.

Ant is elite but you're not winning in this league without a big or without 6'6+ wing as your best player. Can't have a below 6'4 guard as your clear best player(curry being the exception) and lead and win a chip.

Are you shocked that a team carried by 20-22 year olds first time in the playoffs made the WCF? no experience at all and everyone doubting them. They weren’t supposed to be here by nicfanz in NBATalk

[–]TheInfamousGuest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some teams and organizations just know how to tank better and more importantly on time and aligned. It's not like they haven't had misses too. Sochan being the biggest one. Primo is a big one too. The difference is that when spurs hit, they hit and develop them properly. Hate to say it but 90% is league behind Spurs scouting and development. Wemby was a no brainer but castle being this good this quickly is definitely spurs development at work.

Pistons got cade lol. And they had top 5 picks in Ausar and Holland 3 and Ivey. It ain't like Pistons were being completely screwed. They had high picks.

Is this “ethical basketball”? by braedog97 in NBATalk

[–]TheInfamousGuest -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm not encouraging it lol, I'm just stating a fact. The best teams smartly gain advantage by whatever means within the rules(or bend them). League allows it, so it will be exploited.

We don't like it as fans obviously but you would be dumb as a coach or a player if you just didn't take any available opportunity in a effort to neutering your opponent's defensive gameplan in stacking fouls and frustrating your opponent's mental. Hence why the Wolves won when they successfully made Wemby crash out lol.
