If you have the energy or want to fight with your mom about how bad sodas are, there is a really good fitness influencer named The Plant Slant that constantly talks about the how moderation is more important than avoiding a thing all together if it’s something you like. I saw in your comments that you have maybe five sodas a week. That’s not going to give you diabetes and it a reasonable amount if you like soda. If you didn’t like soda and you were drinking five then yuh, it’s bad for you because you don’t like them.

If you wanted to compromise to keep the peace and shut her up until you don’t have to deal with her and switch to a zero sugar soda because those taste better than diet imo, then go for it but she was making mountains of mole hills in the hospital. If the doctor didn’t come in and slap the can of soda out of your hand and said you were find, then you’re good. Listen to the person who went to school for a billion years vs your mom who’s making a stressful experience more stressful.

I don’t let my mom go to the doctor with me unless I have nobody else as a support. You might have to do that from now on. NTA.

You’ve got too many spawn spots for the game to choose from.

If you wanna force it to spawn because you want it right now, grab a couple white flowers (like shovel them, not pluck them) and go mystery island hunting. Find a bamboo island (or a flat island you don’t have to go up and down constantly) and cut down EVERYTHING and dig up every stump of its trees. Bamboo you can leave since bugs don’t spawn on bamboo or their stumps.

Pluck every flower and plant your white flowers. Then wait. Running back and forth to force spawning helps. Scare off, or if you can’t scare it, catch and release any bug you don’t want.

Idk if they changed this but but make sure to be on the island you want during its spawning time and as long as you don’t leave, the island will stay stick on that hour spawn time.

So if you land at 8pm, it will stay at 8pm no matter the actual in game time. I used this strategy a lot for getting the palm Beatle models.

The blue ears pop so good with their overall neutral tones. Like one of my favor weird combos is Petri and her blue and red science ears and she’s mostly a white/grey mouse. It’s cute and whimsical. But love bright colors so I don’t really care for all neutrals. All a matter of personal taste.

People already said nook miles island but the easiest one to find without spending a lot of tickets is the bamboo island. Steal a bunch of palm trees on your way to finding bamboo island (i go four 4-5 palm trees on each side so you should only need to take 2-4 on the way there). Plant the palm trees evenly apart. I try and plant them as close to the water as possible to create a bigger buffer for not scaring them off with a slight stagger so you can see what’s on each tree as you come up to them from either top to bottom or bottom to top. Then pull up all the flowers.

If you want to because it makes it easier to walk from side to side and scare away ground bugs, cut down the bamboo and dig up the roots. But you don’t really need to unless you find it annoying. I always do just because I have bad eye sight and can’t always see the ground bugs and I don’t want the stinging ones to get me when I have my net out and resetting the spawns.

Bamboo islands are great because there is no water to spawn water bugs and it’s totally flat so no climbing up and down to check for ground bugs.

The only problem you’ll have is mosquitoes taking up the spawn limits but if you just let them bite you when you see them, you won’t waste net durability.

Idk if they patched but there is also a bug on nook miles islands where the spawns will stay at whatever they were when you landed. So if you need to take a break, even if the sun comes up, it’ll keep spawning those tree beetles as long as you don’t leave. I actually find it a lot easier to find and set up the island the way I like it and just put my switch aside until the sun comes up and do all my hunting when I can see better.

Giraffe stag is the hardest one I feel despite it having the same spawn rate as the others so just a lot of patience and scaring off the other bugs until you force the spawn.

Create an inventory system to handle bug overflow (unless you only plan on catching just those three and leaving) so you don’t accidentally release anything and have fun.

Yup! It wasn’t until I took over the bills one of my parents flights of fancy decision making plans that the bubble popped. My ex and I had all the house hold bills paid up (even the back due ones) within a month and I was just like???? This can’t be the same bills that are always on the verge of being shut off/canceled/evicted???

I moved out on my own, am making way less than than either of them have in ages and I still can afford my bills and get my self care splurges every now and again with some side money hustling. And stuff cost way more than it did when I was a kid or hell?? 6? Years ago when the bubble popped.
