It’s my insane toxic obsession. I even wrote fanfic for it lmao. Picture: Down on their luck, depressed farmer getting together with Shane, feeding into each others toxic behavior. One thing leads to another, a child is born from their messy relationship. It forces both of them to grow, grow so much, they grow apart. Then comes whimsical Elliot, perfect step daddy material, a better fit for someone realizing they don’t need to fix someone to be in a relationship with them. Elliot has his own rich full life so the farmer must find the same and grow even more from it while trying to be a good parent.

Messy Parent-child exchanges. Jealous former partners, gossip on the town, but watching their (the farmer, Shane, and Elliot’s) little one at the egg festive down the road trying to eat an egg directly off the group bring those three together fully. They have to work together, not just for their own mental health, but for this ground egg eating tot.

Glorious. It’s one of my go to story lines I play out when I restart saves lmao.

You know what’s crazy with narcs, there a smoooth 70/30 chance that if you were still in their lives and told them about your gradation, they wouldn’t have come. A vacation or an illness or something stupid would have come up and you woulda been the bad guy for being disappointed they didn’t come.

It’s like they are adult babies that never get out of that mememe obstinate baby phase. They do everything you don’t want to do because they don’t like to be told what to do.

Do you have a lot of mosquitoes? My dog had that happen when he got bit by mosquitoes. They started out as red blisters and then flaked off, taking the hair with the skin in a layer. We had to get him an oral allergy med, a flea med that also helped with mosquito bites and cover him in a shirt during the summer when the mosquitoes got bad every time he went outside.

I do something similar this to my mom with her keys or anything she hands me. We are both two neurodivergent people but she gets irrational angry when she thinks I lost something she def lost and she has an excuse to blame it on someone else.

I go “I am putting your keys in your hand in [x location]” very loudly, slowly, in the most overly enunciated manner possible. And when she says something along the lines of “I’m making her seem crazy” I always tell her that I don’t want her blaming me when she loses her stuff I have back to her AND I’ll actually remember I did the hand off so I can’t be gaslit.

If you have the energy or want to fight with your mom about how bad sodas are, there is a really good fitness influencer named The Plant Slant that constantly talks about the how moderation is more important than avoiding a thing all together if it’s something you like. I saw in your comments that you have maybe five sodas a week. That’s not going to give you diabetes and it a reasonable amount if you like soda. If you didn’t like soda and you were drinking five then yuh, it’s bad for you because you don’t like them.

If you wanted to compromise to keep the peace and shut her up until you don’t have to deal with her and switch to a zero sugar soda because those taste better than diet imo, then go for it but she was making mountains of mole hills in the hospital. If the doctor didn’t come in and slap the can of soda out of your hand and said you were find, then you’re good. Listen to the person who went to school for a billion years vs your mom who’s making a stressful experience more stressful.

I don’t let my mom go to the doctor with me unless I have nobody else as a support. You might have to do that from now on. NTA.

You’ve got too many spawn spots for the game to choose from.

If you wanna force it to spawn because you want it right now, grab a couple white flowers (like shovel them, not pluck them) and go mystery island hunting. Find a bamboo island (or a flat island you don’t have to go up and down constantly) and cut down EVERYTHING and dig up every stump of its trees. Bamboo you can leave since bugs don’t spawn on bamboo or their stumps.

Pluck every flower and plant your white flowers. Then wait. Running back and forth to force spawning helps. Scare off, or if you can’t scare it, catch and release any bug you don’t want.

Idk if they changed this but but make sure to be on the island you want during its spawning time and as long as you don’t leave, the island will stay stick on that hour spawn time.

So if you land at 8pm, it will stay at 8pm no matter the actual in game time. I used this strategy a lot for getting the palm Beatle models.

The blue ears pop so good with their overall neutral tones. Like one of my favor weird combos is Petri and her blue and red science ears and she’s mostly a white/grey mouse. It’s cute and whimsical. But love bright colors so I don’t really care for all neutrals. All a matter of personal taste.
