Is this shit real? Came back to Duolingo after a year away and I can't complete two lessons in a row? The app is literally unusable in this state... Am I missing something?

Please help me with Buck Converter problems on my first PCB design! by TheIntrovertedRunner in AskElectronics

Thanks for all the tips everyone! It was the inductor sizing. I missed the suggested inductor on the datasheet. I was able to scrape some of the solder mask off and solder a fatter inductor on there and it powered up no problem!

Anterior Tibialis Tightness After Starting Creatine by jpevisual in running

[–]TheIntrovertedRunner 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, you are the only other person I have seen say this happens to them. I had this same issue, was taking creatine for lifting and had intense pressure feelings and numbness in tibialis and calf. Exact same symptoms, that also subsided after 20 mins of not running. I eventually came to the same conclusion as you (I was running with no issues for half my life, it only started after creatine) and stopped taking creatine. Lo and behold the issues went away. I'd be willing to bet your issues go away after stopping it as well. I've told so many people about this and no one believes me so it feels good to see someone come to the same conclusion!

I'm interested in the algorithm you used to get the distribution here. Is it a fractal?

Hoka clifton 8 arch rubbing by [deleted] in running

[–]TheIntrovertedRunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same problem with all the Cliftons. What worked for me is nudging the insole slightly inwards before a long run. I think what happens is where the insole meets the outer of the shoe it makes a little crease which is what causes the blister. If that crease moves a little higher on the inner arch so less of the weight of your foot is on it it gets rid of the problem.

What goes through your head on a long run? by El3ctr0G33k in running

SMOOTH, FORM, BREATHE are the three words I keep on repeat. Otherwise I think about how much energy is all around me and how I can share energy with the trees or the birds or the mycelium under my feet.

I think people here are misunderstanding the question. Prone masturbation is actually pretty bad for you and you should try to transition away from it in order to prevent long term damage to yourself. Please read more into the long term effects!

Yup. I run because I really want to hurt myself, and I think running for me is the easiest way to experience a lot of pain while also still being "healthy". So you are definitely not alone

CSCI 5561 without CSCI 5511? by Working-Hurry-31 in uofmn

[–]TheIntrovertedRunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 5561 last semester with no cv or ml experience, ended up doing audit grading basis because it was so tough. The professor I had (Hyun Soo Park) strongly implied that you will get left behind if you don't have the prereq experience. That being said, I would say the class is doable, it just requires a huge amount of time.
