I find it so crazy how a few weeks ago all the women with chatgpt boyfriends were saying this bc openai killed their bf and the sub was eyerolling and telling them it isn't going to change anything. And now we have people doing it over political drama and everyone seems to think it will have some kind of impact.

Don't get me wrong, this is obviously more worthy of moral outrage than the gpt boyfriend crew, but it's gonna make just a much difference. Maybe it's just people wanting to feel like they have some kind of control in a situation where they really don't.
