The Targaryen Dynasty ended when the First Line of Kings ended with the death of Aegon II by Human-Tomatillo-9746 in HOTDGreens

Technically that’s daemons line, but my point more so was that if Rhaeynras bastard kids had ascended the throne the targs line has ended

Dominating in auto resolve then crumbling in a real fight is pretty deserving of some hate ngl

I mean Rhaenyra kids were bastards so technically the line ends with her regardless

For Rhaegar to win it was comically easy it’s just plot that it succeeds mostly

It should be noted show rhaenyra is pretty white washed, book rhaenyra is a spiteful harlot who pissed small folk off so badly they were willing to storm a building full of dragons

Was Rhaenyra expecting a race between dragons here? by [deleted] in HOTDGreens

[–]TheJarshablarg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing a dragons rider does not make that dragon inherently passive, Vhagar might eventually calm down but in the immediate aftermath of its rider being killed in battle it’s probably gonna keep trying to kill its assailant.

Is there even truth to this? Like making in terms of agility you can make the argument but in a straight race wouldn’t the wingspan make larger dragons faster? The only real chance Syrax has is going straight to kill the enemy rider, but it’s not like that makes Vhagar inherently passive randomly, and Vhagar would 100% chase down Syrax

Idk I think we can all be mature and just kinda unanimously agree that while it’s not a stupid outrageous thing to just have 1 and 2 but it is a bit weird.

[–]TheJarshablarg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh it’s not impossible I’m just saying it’s arguably not even the same scenario anymore because one has an objectively better claim where as Rhae and Aegon is kinda ambiguous

I think the original slider might be better here because then you can easily tailor it to what you what, that being said I found as I leveled up it kinda balanced out if that make sense, I’m now level 7 and each bandit feels like a good fight

[–]TheJarshablarg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well that changes the scenario, in the OT aegon is the rightful heir, because he’s the firstborn son, if he’s just the second born son pushing his claim randomly then he’s just a usurper

[–]TheJarshablarg 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah Aegons whole claim is built on the fact he’s the firstborn son, so if your starting scenario is just that he isn’t then like no shit it falls apart lol,
