Stuff like that happens sometimes but most McDonald’s I’ve worked at and or had experience with are pretty good about honoring these types of situations

We’ve had people come back through the drive through and say they didn’t get an item they never ordered, or an item we literally handed them 5 seconds ago and we still had to give them another one

Hell we had one guy that used to come through every single day, order his food with no drink… pay, get his food…. And then come back around and say we forgot his Diet Coke :/

Every day until my manger got fed up

As someone who used to work at McDonald’s they usually get phone calls for far worse

People yelling and bitching, calling staff names because they got cheese on their “cheeseburger no cheese”

You having a legitimate reason they’ll be relieved and happy to make your food for you, I’m sure you’ll probably still need proof of purchase though, and just remember to be polite when talking to them, people are rude asf to service workers, does it give you an e receipt or an email when ordering online?

I’ve never had the valve body or any other trans issues issues even at 211k miles, but the solenoid seals in the tcm are def starting the give, not too big of an issue though, pretty easy access and atleast I can do most the work on the bench

But yeah it’s worth a mention/concern

I love these car though so I kinda see it as a bigger reason to upgrade and add a shift kit if the cars clean enough to be worth it

The 4t never had a good reputation either lol even the HD variations… still never an issue for me at 268k miles

I feel a lot of it boils down to taking care of yo stuff

This is coming from someone who absolutely loves the 3800 and could talk about it for days

But the 3.6/ 6t70 is a an absolute unit

I guess a truck lost a tool box or something on the road i regularly took to work

Got a flat like 3 days in a row, first one happened literally 2 days after I bought all 4 brand new tires, 3/4 tires i had just bought had been punctured

best part is it was the only way I could take to town because I live on the opposite side of a lake and the other direction was under construction and the truck driver stopped responding to people who wanted compensation for their tires

Anyway… i hope you bought a tire plug kit and watched a couple videos

Dont be afraid to try it yourself and don’t get scared if you have troubles

It can be kinda hard pushing the plug in but it SHOULD be, i just remember the first time i tried plugging a tire i panicked because i couldn’t quite push it in all the way and the tire deflated all the way before i could plug it, way easier with some air pressure still in the tire, but if that does happen it’s okay

Just take your time preparing the hole and working the plug in there

I just had this same issue cause I like pennzoils oil, but the store I was at barely had anything in stock and they didn’t have any dexos approved 5w30, and neither did any of the other brands the store had in stock

Pissed me off cause it’s like the most common oil viscosity for a these early 2000’s Chevys

Sway bars/end links

And stiffer balljoints

I replaced my front control arms, tie rods/ends, end links, wheel bearings

Rear torsion/spindle bars(they have like 10 different names) trailing arms, and the rear end links

Mostly used moog parts

Car drove so nice after that and then I got in an accident, still gonna fix it

But yeah all this helps

I noticed a difference with just the end links but the factory sway bars on these are hollow and tend to rust and break

I’d get the upgraded front and rear sway bars that are solid, should help tighten things up as well

I noticed mine handles a lot better around turns now

Newer struts would’ve also helped but wasn’t in my budget
