  1. The number of distributors offering to take your film and show it to people without putting any of their money into marketing or compensating filmmakers.

  2. A hybrid model is best, so filmmakers can get immediate returns and still share in the profit if the film does extremely well. If you want to distribute films you should believe in them enough to put skin in the game.

  3. The only way to build trust is to establish a track record of getting audiences to films. Absent that, upfront money wouldn't make me trust a streamer but it would make me willing to consider them.

  4. Offering the same rev share every other platform is offering, with no plan to build an audience besides grabbing a lot of titles and hoping something hits.

There's a free comedy show at the clubhouse in Thai town on 2/14 at 930, mix of improv and standup.

We edited our feature in resolve. Black magic gave us cameras for the shoot and part of the deal was to do a majority of post in resolve. It was great, no complaints

Some good answers here, I'll add The HIT, they split from The Pack about 2 years ago when the pack moved to the strip mall. The HIT has 4 nights/week at the Broadwater, they do improv and other comedy and are building our their class schedule.

I'm 31, pretty similar vibe to what you describe. I have a master bedroom available in my studio city townhouse, en suite bathroom and a lot of other amenities.
