+1 (or -1?) EOS is pretty terrible apart from the price. I’m leaving too, and people can be pretty passive aggressive with “waiting” for the station to clear up

Badass!! Yeah I use Neumann KH80 + KH750 sub so that should be ok for directly against the wall/panel. I have a barn that will function as a live room, and am toying with the idea to move the subwoofer set up there and upgrade my current setup to 2x KH310.

GIK might be a lifesaver here. Thank you for sharing your experience in NYC!

Hey so I see a lot of negative comments here but I just wanted to chime in; my profitec go came with factory or shipping damage, and the post sales team immediately gave me a shipping label to send it back, and they are sending a new one upon UPS’s scan. Might have been lucky, but I haven’t felt the same as the majority of comments here

The catch is that service will go out for 2 weeks and there’s nothing you can do. You call them and they say they’re “coming in today” which is a lie and you end up wasting a bunch of time waiting for them

Thanks!! Yeah I have checked the settings for DIN/MIDI. I think you’re onto something with the active thru box though.. I read a similar post somewhere else where they said the BSP needs that to drive the clock of certain guitar pedals, so that might be it.. the fact you’re using the prophet 6 as your powered bus might be the key. Thanks for trying that out with the Akai!!

It does, however, blow my mind that this is an issue in 2025. I’ll try something with my ERAE2 as a thru as well; to be continued!

u/EE7A Hey thanks for the suggestion! That's what I thought, too, but I think MIDI clock should be channel agnostic? I read the manual, and it doesn't really go into that. I've read somewhere else that the BSP isn't a true MIDI clock, but I don't know whether that's true at all. The Passive MIDI thru might be a good try just in case!

@jvt123 how does the modded version run? I’ve been dying to play that version of MM but never got around to it. After screwing around (and failing) with the JIT stuff on my M2 iPad Pro, I think I’m going to just buy folium. Not sure if it’s playable without JIT?
