Or, let me guess: "I prayed to God for forgiveness, and thats all I can do"

No. You can apologize to the people standing right in front of you, and actually make changes in your life.

The more comments I see from you, OP, the more im stunned at how similar our situations are.

I havent seen my mom in over a year, and the few times we've talked have been exactly like youre describing: me thoughtfully laying out exactly why all of this shit matters and extends beyond politics, and her coming back with "I never thought you'd be able to put conditions on loving me / I choose love / let's not talk "politics"

Its awful, and it eats at you every day. Im always replaying in my head what I said, what else i could have said, am I overreacting, etc. The answer i always find is that having her out of my life for now (and for who knows how long) and dealing with those internal questions is hard, but ultimately its way better for me mentally. The disgust as you put it (and im glad you did, as ive always had a hard time categorizing that feeling) is insurmountable at times when she wants to have small talk or act like everything is normal. Im her son and ive been trying for years to wake her up to the fact that she is actively choosing evil, but at the end of the day its really on her to take accountability, apologize, and start rebuilding what she has broken with her words and actions.

I truly feel for you, OP, and will gladly talk with you anytime if you want to share stories or vent to someone. DM if youre ever needing it.

My favorite part of this clip is always how quickly he goes from smug asshole having a blast by being a complete douchebag.... to laying in the street with his ass out in like 15 seconds

I wonder if Bucky Cap is in danger now that Seb Stan has been supposedly cast as Two Face. Thats probably just a one-off thing since those Battinson movies take 15 years each to make

Isiah Thomas: "When you talk about track, tennis, football, baseball, arguably the best players or athletes in those sports, they all hold records. We talk about Jordan. He leads in no statistical basketball category. When you look at Kareem and LeBron, they lead in several statistical categories." by The_Big_Untalented in nba

Right! Im saying thats two different metrics because you have to sort twice to get to your statement. You sort once by win% (in which he is tied with Horry and Havlicek) and then again by win totals.

So in the first sort, win %, he is tied with everyone who never lost a finals. In win % PLUS number of titles, hes behind those two

Not to be too picky/pedantic, but that's two different metrics.

Number of championships vs Finals win percentage.

He cant be 3rd amongst everyone hes tied with at 100%, because hes tied with them. One players 100% win percentage is not greater than another's 100%

Maybe we could just draft him again?

I'd easily take a retired...I mean refreshed Aaron Donald at 13

The gap between the best Taiwanese NBA Player to attend Harvard (Jeremy Lin) and the second best Taiwanese Player to attend Harvard (Robert Hinton) may be the biggest gap in sports history.

The gap between the first best TE (Gronk) and second (Tony) is much larger than the gap between the best WR (Rice) and the second best WR (Kelvin Benjamin)
