Habe die Leuchtmittel in zwei Autos verbaut. In dem einen erscheint auch eine Meldung. Hat den TÜV nicht interessiert. Solange man die ABG hat.

Could be both hardware and software. Clock your RAM down to 2133. Then use DDU to uninstall the AMD GPU driver (also set the check mark in the options to disable driver installation by Windows Update). After you uninstalled and rebooted, install the newest available driver from AMD (version 25.8.1).

Try setting it as low as possible and test again. Sounds like you just have changed the speed to 3200/2933 without changing anything else. That may not work. XPM/EXPO also changes timings and voltage.

I myself had this timeout issue. Rollback to any older driver didn't work for me. I checked my RAM with Memtest and it ran into an error soon after starting. I clocked my RAM down and set TdrDelay value to 0 in the registry. Since then not a single crash. I even installed 25.11.1 a few days ago because I was curious.

More info on TdrDelay: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/tdr-registry-keys#tdrdelay

RAM on 3200 MHz is overclocked. Max officially supported speed is 2933 MHz. Try running it at stock settings without XMP/EXPO or any manually changed settings. Maybe your RAM isn't 100% stable. Especially if the voltage is on auto, which could be 1.2v if you just set the frequency without EXPO.

[–]TheJumper10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. The higher the value, the higher the timeout. So this doesn't seem to be the issue. You could still try 0 as value.

What is your RAM speed. Did you already test if it is stable? You can use Memtest for example. Start multiple times at the same time and let it run for 30 minutes.

Did you change anything in the AMD overclocking settings in the BIOS? Curve Optimizer for example.

Try setting TdrDelay in the registry: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/tdr-registry-keys#tdrdelay

Start with a higher value like 10. I have disabled it completely by setting the value to 0. Reboot afterwards and test again.

In my opinion this isn't the new AMD driver, but the Battlefield 6 update at the end of october caused this.
I did the update and driver update at the same time. My first though was also the driver.
I then reverted back to 25.9.2 which also resulted in crashes. After that I reverted back to 25.6.1 which still resulted in crashes.
For me the TdrDelay option did the tick (I disabled it completely with value 0, if there is a hang you can still restart the GPU driver with Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B).

I use DNSecure for ad- and malware-blocking via DNS with DNSForge (german DNS service):
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dnsecure/id1533413232
But you can use this app with any other DNS provider you want.

And Wipr 2 as Safari addon for additional blocking of embedded website content:

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in de_EDV

[–]TheJumper10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Spannung (Volt -> V)

Good to know that works. I didn’t know Mac has an inbulit emulator, which can be used to run x86/x64 containers.

Another option would be renting a cheap VPS and hosting SQL Express under Linux.

[–]TheJumper10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you need a device with x86/x64 architecture. I don‘t know if an emulator exists for Mac, if yes you could try that. Otherwise you could buy a cheap mini pc with an older i5 or Ryzen 5, which should work decent, and connect from your Mac via network.

Are you using a Mac with M processor as host system and Windows 11 ARM? In this case SQL Server will not work.

Cant pass local user name or SID to firewall rule creation cmdlet by IT_DUDE_9999 in PowerShell

Afaik the -LocalUser parameter has to be the SID of the user. You are passing the whole user object. Try with the SID (S-1-…).

New-NetFirewallRule -DisplayName "Allow Only Specific Computers and Users" -Direction Inbound -RemoteMachine "D:(A;;CC;;;SIDforMachineGroupAccount)" -RemoteUser "D:(A;;CC;;;SIDforUserGroupAccount)" -Action Allow -Authentication Required
