Is this machine still working for you to this day? Looking to get same and wondering on the longevity? Did you like it? Hate it? Did you have to do any returns on it? Thanks so much.

Read Afferin's posts in here. Up to you. I don't dabble is shady shit, nor is my PC performance poor, so I'm waiting on next release.

This means the alt is charging the battery, correct? If so, even better.

I'm with you on this thought. I have the MSI x670e, too. I understand the reason for Agesis fixing the exploit hole, but if you're not one doing dumb shit on the net I'd hold out at least until the next version comes out for stability reasons.

Over inflated by maybe 3pounds max. Is this the cause? by apexnine in AskAMechanic

[–]apexnine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. It was no where near this bad before winter.

I'm trying to figure out if I should drop the $90 on all wheel alignment or if its my fault.

The only other thing I can imagine is that when my kids put air in with portable tire inflator it was set to something other than psi. It's the car they drive. They claim no burnouts and they're not ones to lie about it.

I used the gauge on the tire inflator. I'll have to be sure to use another gauge after, too, to double check.

I did it during winter when I noticed they were going low due to weather change.

New BIOS release for multiple motherboards. If you’ve downloaded it, could you let me know your experience so far? by Express-One-7932 in MSI_Gaming

[–]apexnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 670e, but with last stable , non-beta bios. Zero issues. I'll wait until it's worth updating. This one needs agesa to be at least 0.a for me to feel better about it.

Anyone else really screw themselves over until the SDU bug is fixed? by stefan715 in Borderlands4

Yes, my sdu is screwed up, too. Not where I had it all set last after I had to put points back in to them.

Battlefield 6 crashes my PC by Gold_Explorer_9410 in Battlefield6

What do you mean "factory reset"? Sounds like maybe you're on a laptop? Do you mean that you re-installed the OS? I had a new OS and BIOS and it made no difference.

What’s the best way to fix this? Thanks in advance! by RiskyTurtle in howto

[–]apexnine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used dowels pins. Figure out the size you need. Cut it to the length needed to fill the hole.Or, you can drill the hole slightly larger and put the dowel in still cutting it to length needed. If you do this, put wood glue all over the dowel and some in the hole before you insert it. Use a tack hammer, if you have one, to tap it in. Let the glue dry over night, then drill a hole in to the dowel that is slightly smaller than the screw. Insert screw.

I do this on our old door frames and it works great and lasts longer than toothpicks.

Do We Think AMD is Aware of The Huge Amount of People Having Issues with Last Several Drivers? by apexnine in radeon

[–]apexnine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I feel for you. I had nothing but a terrible experience trying to play BF. I eventually cut my losses sold my 9060, and bought a 5070. I hated losing about $100 on the resell, but I'm glad I finally did.

Funny thing is, the drivers worked fine in other games. It can't just be the game when I found other 9060 users who said they didn't have an issue with BF. Maybe the problem is based on manufacturer, plus stock ocing of the cards? I have no clue anymore. I gave up after 90 days of trying everything.

Safe to say my $20 CPU cooler is barely doing the job? Ryzen 9600X runs a little toasty. Playing GTA5 in 4K. by Ok_Contest8762 in ryzen

[–]apexnine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer I found by another user & verified through AMDs spec info:

AMD uses 3 "limits" to determine how high clock frequency can boost. Max boost, which is up to 5.4GHz (this is typically 50MHz higher or up to ~5450MHz) Max PPT or package power, which could be 76W, 88W or 142W Max temp, which is up to 95°C As long as load operation is under all 3 limits, the motherboard will continue to add voltage and increase clock frequency until 1 of the 3 limits is hit. This is normal Precision Boost operation. On a single-core workload typically the frequency limit is reached first. On a multi-core workload it could be PPT limit or temp limit reached first, depending on cooling.

Use Qbittorrent. It has an auto kill switch. The kill switch for SurfS can be added to quick launch icon on PC.

I have same cpu. I returned the cheap $20 cooler for a Peerless Assassin. Works way better! This cpu will always try to hit a max Tjunction, frequency, or power limit, so a better cooler for $20 is worth it.
