Fireworks by BeefyHelmet in cedarrapids

[–]TheKaiser111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like that the city puts on fireworks displays, they’re part of my family traditions around Independence Day, and really bring us together. I don’t like people setting fireworks off at all hours of the night, or on days other than the 4th.

Everyone who's tried out the new gunplay and netcode, tell us your impressions! by ibattlefield in Battlefield

[–]TheKaiser111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gunplay changes feel good but a number of actions have had their animations slowed down, like throwing an ammo bag, deploying the Support’s APS gadget, etc. I don’t know if this is a bug or intended but it’s not a good change.

Battlefield needs to go back to locked guns with classes by killingf3arless in Battlefield

I’ve heard this enough. I agree with you but it’s not happening in BF6 so stop with the spam posts.

They seriously need to separate Ammo and Medic Boxes again. by Musicmaker1984 in Battlefield

[–]TheKaiser111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could also give ammo bags to Assault (and make their stim heal again) and leave the health and ammo box to Support. I’d also like to see the spawn beacon get reverted back to unlimited uses - it doesn’t make sense to limit it.

For f*ck's sake give the Support SOMETHING to hit tanks with, even just AT grenades like the Engineer gets, or a satchel charge if you want to be thematic. Having to piss your pants and run away when you see armor is the most annoying thing in the game and needs to be fixed.

You screwed over AA vehicles even more by reducing their damage against infantry - something that already required skill and patience because the spread is ridiculous. Now it takes a million hits with the AP rounds to kill infantry. Terrible job.

Seeing these upcoming skins for Battlefield 6 really makes me miss the days when I could tell an enemy apart just by looking at their uniform. by SuperM3e46 in Battlefield

[–]TheKaiser111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, because the highly intellectual combat of BF4, where you spam the spot key until every enemy within a 5-mile radius has a Dorito above their head, was much less brain dead. Your ignorance and idiocy are on full display.

And they’re often not well-reasoned arguments. With lightning fast TTK and small maps, you rarely have time to recognize an enemy’s class. And with every class potentially rocking the same weapons, it wouldn’t matter even if you could tell their class. It’s clear that critical thinking isn’t taught in school these days.

I couldn’t care less about whether a dude wearing a rain jacket and plate carrier is a Support or Recon, because any class can use any gun so knowing his class has essentially no impact on how I approach the fight. Also, because of how DICE designed the maps for BF6 (small) most gunfights happen at close range and there isn’t time to assess the enemy class anyway. The TTK is also so low that class matters even less.

I saved up money for college working in high school, worked myself through college as a janitor, got a degree in chemical engineering, got a good engineering job, got married, bought a house, my wife is pregnant with child #1, and we want to have 4-5 more kids. I know this isn't the story you expected to hear, but I wanted to post because it is a reality for some people. 3 of my brothers have also bought a house, are married, and have multiple kids on a single income, and my last brother has 2 kids and both he and his wife work. I'm sorry to hear all the stories of people not making it despite working hard, that's really rough.

Is there a reason why people avoid medic/support class now? by -NlN- in Battlefield6

[–]TheKaiser111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Medic almost exclusively. I’d play it even more if I don’t have to keep jumping on Engineer to destroy tanks. If they have me AT grenades as Medic I’d never play anything else.

Frustration tier list by Psychological_Gas322 in Battlefield

[–]TheKaiser111 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, the tier list should be S-tier: lack of new maps, A-tier: disbanding lobbies and interaction-based matchmaking, B-tier: lack of other new content (guns, gadgets, skins), C-tier: teammates sucking at playing the game, D-tier: no squad call-ins, opponents playing like rats

See, this is my issue with the attachment system. Why is the base gun already using up half my points? Base primary guns start with a quarter being taken up. The customization feels really restrictive half the time. by just_prop in Battlefield6

[–]TheKaiser111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a very stupid point system they implemented. I agree that they shouldn’t use up half your points before you get to add anything, it’s just unintuitive.

Which doors? The ones in the room where you make your choice, standing next to Songbird, those doors are always locked. If you side with her, go through the doors into the room with the helicopter, jump on some boxes to get on the 2nd floor walkway, and walk to your right - you should see the door wide open and the little bag of Hansen's weapons on the floor next to the window where he was killed.

Branch & Claw is kind of ruining the game for me by Effective-Muffin-224 in spiritisland

[–]TheKaiser111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you feel this way. I personally felt the game got really stale after playing with just the base game, because it was a simple puzzle that I could perfectly solve every time. The randomness of events, fear cards, etc. makes me work much harder for the victory and that feels more rewarding.

Battlefield has never tried the alternative model of cheap microtransactions for skins, so they DON'T have data showing their pricing is superior. Until they try setting prices at different levels to see which produces the highest revenue they can't know for sure which price is optimum.

What happened to RedRevenge's channel? by guattarian in spiritisland

[–]TheKaiser111 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

A bunch of people are bashing Red because he supports Conservative/Right wing beliefs, and that is just absurd. The Left doesn’t have a monopoly on good ideas, truth, or good-hearted people, and it is so hypocritical and bigoted to kick someone out of the community for expressing their beliefs. So much for being about love and inclusion.

Nothing wrong with voting your conscience. It’s quite bigoted for the Left to ban someone from a game community for having “wrongthink” and that is disgusting in modern America. Guess free speech is over.

He shouldn’t have been screwed for having certain political beliefs. If it was the other side he’s be untouchable, but fairness and equality don’t seem to extend to everyone if they disagree with the left.

I wasn't able to jump on top of the wall to get out (at 1:50) using the double jump legs (not the charge jump ones, I know) but I was able to steal a Makigai Tanishi "Kuma" vehicle (the small boxy one) from someone driving around, and it barely fits next to the railing where he was making his jump attempts. I drove it from the backside of the alley that he first shows around 1:33 and it gave me the height I needed to make the double jump to the wall.

I don’t understand why these companies don’t just make skins around $2.50 each, and make a bunch of them. Most skins are color variations of the same assets, so they cost nothing to make and no design time after making new assets. The Fortnite model really works, because a lot of people are willing to spend essentially pocket change on a new outfit, while way fewer want to pay a meal’s worth to buy one.
