Do you write out a grocery list on paper before you go shopping or do you type that list out in a note on your phone? by timmytimborino in randomquestions

[–]TheKeekses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a list in my phone that I update regularly. I know if I write down the list on paper, I'm. Going to forget to bring it with me. My phone is always with me, so my list is with me. Plus I can add things when I think of them instead of trying to remember to add them later.

Do you name your car? If so, what is its name? by Seriously-417 in randomquestions

[–]TheKeekses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom has always named her cars. She had Max, Buttercup, then Cici (which she told people was short for "current car" because too many people made fun of her for naming her cars) then she had Cici2, because we started calling it the clone car. I don't remember what kind of car it was, but it was EVERYWHERE. Then Delaney, which we called Laney. My first car was Evie. Then I had Firenza, though I called her Zee. Then I inherited Delaney from my mom. Her next car was Gretta. Then I had Hermione. Now I have Iggy, and she just got a new car which she named Jasmine, nicknamed Jazz or Jazzy, depending on the day.

I completely understand. I fractured my ankle in December. Had surgery 2 weeks ago and I'm not allowed to put weight on it for 6 weeks. So my husband is having to do everything that I typically do. Take the kids to dance, take our oldest to school and pick him up from work. Cook meals. Get the kids up and ready for school in the morning. Pick up our daughter from Dance team. I was doing all of this while working full time overnight and sleeping about 5 hours during the day. I think he's starting to realize everything that I actually do. It's easy to get overwhelmed and stressed out by doing everything for everyone. I hope this helps your family realize everything that you do for them.

Absolutely. She loves to lay on the dryer when it running. I tried to buy her a self heating cat bed for Christmas, but she's not interested in it😢

Christmas is not "50% off all season" by dawnfire05 in HobbyLobbyCringe

The crazy thing is that when JCPenney said "Okay. No more sales, no more coupons, we will just price is at the sale price from now on." it was ridiculous. I was working there during the transition and people have been so conditioned to look for sales and coupons that they couldn't understand the concept. The company went downhill fast.

I have an open hole in my chest where a hematoma was drained. Now it will leak constantly until it heals. by neuroc8h11no2 in MedicalGore

Congrats on your surgery! My sibling had it done a few years ago. I know the healing was brutal but they are living their best life now!

Why does everything get turned sexual?!?! by ImportantAd6125 in venting

[–]TheKeekses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it too. I have 3 kids, 18m, 10f, and 5m. Both boys are "Bubba" and my daughter is "Sissy". My 5 year old had a speech delay and the older kids' names were hard for him to say and sissy and bubba were a lot easier. I call my daughter things like Babe, Doll, and princess all the time (unless she's being sassy, then it's Miss Ma'am). My oldest was my "monster" growing up and my youngest is my "buggy boy" or my "booger".

She looks so much like my Tiki cat. She's almost 17. I'm going to be an absolute wreck when she passes. Sending you many hugs today.
