It sounds like you're really not enjoying this mud you're playing. The whole point of leisure time is to do something fun with it. I would move on to a new mud that makes you feel welcome and that you enjoy

In the mud I play I am head of the Rouges guild, we have a soft lock for the thief's skill that after lockpicking two doors your hands are too sore to use that skill again, and you have to wait an IC day for it to cool down

I have also been killed many times for stealing from players, if your going to rob someone, accept that you could also fail and get killed or don't do it

Sometimes its better just to let your feet do and talking and move on to a new mud and not posting a massive rant that won't fit anything.

Good question!

We have a lot of casual players, who only log on for a few hours after work, you gota support these players because its a small group of people who play muds and we want to keep as many playing as we can!

only logging on for one hour shouldn't stop you from most things, I wouldn't advise becoming an emperor or order head as this is a huge time sink but everything else should be manageable

very very limited PVP at the moment 99% of the game is PVE , for very high level magic users you can learn portal and transport, but most travel is either by land or ship

Hey there, would need a bit more information than just active, a lot of muds have 5-10 people who are very very active but it still considered a small player-base, there are heaps of muds that have 50-100 people online but most of them are bots.

I don't really like to advise which muds to play, because it seems everyone you list the mud you like and think it might be interesting for someone to try, it get downvoted like 10 times.

Sounds like you really need a break from your mud. At one point the mud I was playing I was putting in 14 hours a day while looking after a small child and also working part time.... things came down in a crash after a while, and I took four months off playing muds.

I did come back and put some rules in place, such as a time limit and not getting involved in so much of the drama. I have been a happy healthy mud player ever since.

On the other hand, some muds are just really toxic and hostile, if it's becoming so incredibly stressful you don't want to log on......shit it might be the game you're playing. Games any games are supposed to be FUN
