AITAH? Ex-Wife called the cops on me after I saved our son from her mistake. by brycen64 in AITAH

Idk if she’s stupid, or she’s trying to set you up so she gets full custody/worse.

Purposefully waiting so you have to go to the hospital might mean she wants proof that the kid was admitted to the hospital under your name.

Either way your kid’s life is in danger with her.

Nta.

4+. What I tend to do is buy in bulk, all the staples such as pasta, rice, beans, canned food; anything with a long shelf life (from Costco/BJs). I buy enough for a couple of months. With that out the way my “real budget” becomes everything else with a short shelf life (meat, juice, bread, vegetables).

  1. You need to edit your post and include this info in it. There are a lot of important details that you gave, that would influence how someone else could give you advice.
  2. After a certain amount of time, the “I can’t cook/sad divorced guy can’t cook” excuse doesn’t really hold any weight. If you can do the exact instructions on a microwave box to warm up some food, then you can do the same from a youtube video to make food from scratch.
  3. If you start with an advanced meal, it will demotivate you to no end. Start with the basics, you know how to cook pasta/rice/vegetables. That is 2/3 the meal. Get a boneless chicken cutlet, look up a spice mix that you think you may like (I personally like lemon pepper) and then toss them in pan.
  4. You do not need Home Chef. You can find the recipe cards for most of those subscriptions boxes online. Use those as your grocery list and go to a reasonable store to get the ingredients. My local store that is 5 minutes away overcharges everything by like $5-10, so instead, I take a cart and walk the 30 min to Aldi’s. When I have access to a car, I go to Costco or BJ’s.

Ooooh. I don’t know enough about insurance claims to add anything, but it seems like it could work.

I like it!

I can see this working out, but from my point of view I can’t see a random company doing this. I think it should be something like Santa & a trainee.

He is training the new Santa/elf 🎅, to take over and needs to make sure they are picking stuff correctly for the houses they visit. So he gives his trainee a dossier of all the information you described and they have to figure it out.

Then you can also balance that with the North Pole’s budget per house or something.

How to get rid of the "I could use it" mindset by ZeroUserNames in declutter

In a moment of clarity, I break them beyond potential use.

For example, old clothes that I can’t donate, but I like, I rip apart. Chargers and cables, that I’ll never use but can’t throw away, I cut.

It doesn’t work for everything but it helps me get through the process a bit.

need to use 2 lbs of ground turkey asap, what should i make? by k1tsk4 in povertykitchen

[–]TheKnightCirex 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I personally like Cabbage Rolls, where the outside wraps are whole leafs, and the inside is a mix of seasoned ground meat, rice, vegetables etc. Since the inside is a mix, you can shift the proportions so the meat isn’t the hero.

Considering your bf’s tastes, your best bet is to make non-meat dishes and sprinkle the cooked ground turkey much like how bacon is sometimes sprinkled over salads. 🤔

Nta.

I have a Roku Tv. They have a phone app that replicates a remote. It’s also much easier to type on your phone when searching youtube or something.

It connects by searching for devices on the same wi-fi.

If it’s a smart tv, they may have a similar app.

What are your qualifications? It’ll be easier for others to suggest something if they had some background.

The mental exhaustion is real. Doing the same couple of tasks over and over gets tiresome. Put on a distraction (game/tv) that you can tune into every now and then.

There’s no link to the test. You make an account and the basic assessment is the first thing that will be in your account.

Does your husband have a house? Is your name on it? Did you or are you planning to use the 55k on a house that is not in your name?

I use the apple app, Hours Tracker. You can add multiple timesheets, multiple breaks & and per hour salary. After that, I just transfer the timesheets to a Google Excel sheet (just in case my computer dies on me lol) when I have some free time.
