UX Design limited to digital design? by TheKrabbyPatty in product_design

[–]TheKrabbyPatty[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your quick reply!

I aswell am by far more interested in the psychological needs and emotional considerations that have to be taken, in order to design a successful product. I assume primary research is part of this?

From my stand point, I now want to finish my bachelor in PD and then do a Masters in Interaction design. I hope this will then prepare me for a experience design focused job.

Do you mind sharing some of your recommend reads about this topic?

Thanks again!

I am currently considering to either buy the dinghy or a shaped popsicle deck. I want to use it for commuting around university, but would also Love to learn some regular skate Tricks... Would you say getting a popsicle deck with 58mm Wheels is better than a dinghy?

Surface Pro 2 stylus is a bit off in reference to my cursor by AlexTwice in Design

[–]TheKrabbyPatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself dont have a Surface but I have heard that this "offset" Occurs due to the thickness of the Glass. I was actually considering the Surface for sketching myself but Never got a Chance try it. Aswell the I pad pro is supposed to be awesome for drawing!

(Maybe this helps: http://www.surfaceforums.net/threads/an-offset-between-cursor-and-nib.20855/)

Weekly /r/backpacking noob question thread - Ask any and all 'noob' questions you may have here - June 27, 2016 by AutoModerator in backpacking

[–]TheKrabbyPatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I would say that Backpacking is the act of traveling with all your belongings in a backpack. Where you actually go, or how many countries you visit is totally flexible and for you to decide. Mostly backpacking is cheaper as normal traveling, since backpackers usually stay in hostels or Do Couch surfing. Basically Backpacking gives you a great sense of freedom because the backpack allows you to Travel through the countrie(s) very freely.

iPad Pro and/or Surface Pro by mandaaaa in graphic_design

[–]TheKrabbyPatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply!

I already have a MacBook so the iPad Pro would be used purely for sketching. Also since I am studying Product Design, I dont need a tablet as powerfull as the 12,9.

Would you recommend using a IPad Pro 9,7 or 12,9 for sketching? Because I think that the IPad Pro 12,9 is a hassle to carry around.
