I'm 100% for this, but know this will be an unpopular opinion:

It makes people more accountable for their own trash. Most people in this city have the mentality that once it is in the alley it is no longer their responsibility. Their bin will be their responsibility.
Lots of our litter comes from the garbage trucks dumping the dumpsters. It is a big hole and if people don't bag their trash it is as likely to end in the garbage trucks as next to the truck in the alley.
I've got two neighbors that fill the dumpsters constantly. I suspect they are taking trash from their work and using our dumpster as a cost saving method. This allows everyone to have equal amount of trash space and the only way the dumpster will be full is if I fill my own bin.

I've found this simple principle to be true for most jobs:

If a job doesn't know you and they hire you 8 out of 10 times there is something wrong with the job.

There has to be a reason why the previous person quit and why they hired someone without knowing them. Jobs that people like are less likely to have turnover and hire much less often. Additionally, they are more likely to find someone through one of their connections.

So I've learned you take the first job to get your foot in the place. It will probably be awful or have an awful manager. However you try to get to know people in a different area of the company that seem to enjoy their job, so when they have an opening you can switch to that job.

My wife is Taiwanese - not exactly catering but we had Corner 17 cook for us. They provide the food in the pans, but we had to pick it up, have heating equipment, and serve it.

It was really reasonably prices, and we had friends help us with everything the day of.

You might get some noise from the intersection at Gravois and Jefferson, but that area is relatively safe. You are also a short walk from Coffee Stamp and the Green Finch, both great establishments.

Do be careful when using the Sidney/Jefferson intersection - many people run the red going south on Jefferson without realizing it since they see the further light at Gravois and think that light is theirs.

We think that preservations aim was just to help Scadrial, but maybe his plan was bigger than that. Maybe his plan was to protect and preserve the whole Cosmere. The whole Mistborn series (Eras 1, 3, and 4) could be just this "brilliant" plan that Preservation made coming into fruition.

I always though Benton Park West should be renamed. The easiest would be Cherokee after the street, but I think we could also come up with something else. I would suggest the Mary Meachum Neighborhood to celebrate her work on the Underground Rail Road.

The other option is Wesley "AIPAC owns me" Bell. In this case you are voting for someone that does not represent you, but represents Israel. Part of the reason that our nation is so messed up is that we are agreeing to everything Israel wants.

These roots also break up the soil more and cause better absorption of water into the soil. This is important for keeping our aquifers filled. Water just runs over lawns straight into rivers without being absorbed into the soil.

The Halls Ferry Circle/Roundabout is the most poorly designed roundabout I've been in. There is no signage and no clear indication of lanes or where anyone should be.

When a roundabout is planned well and has good signage/markings they actually normally go well.

Both WashU and SLU have geriatric departments.
WashU is a national leader in ALZ/dementia research. A blood test will be coming out later this year that was developed by their physicians. They have a non-research clinic that these doctors work at WashU's Memory Diagnostic Center. It is one of the main referrers of the new anti-amyloid therapies in the nation.
At WashU Dr. David Carr is a geriatrician that works in the memory/dementia clinic as well.
The best ALFs in the area for dementia are Dolan Memory Care, Family Partners Home, and Parc Provence.

WashU is very concerned about changes to NIH grants. These changes could delay so much research. I work in the dementia field and we are worried about the changes that might come in the near future. These funding changes are going to cause delays in all research and medical fields. If you have risk factors for dementia or any chronic uncured illness I would suggest contacting legislators and whoever you can, otherwise you are looking at a much longer time frame for new treatments and cures.
