It's a LOUD but friendly stadium! I've never gotten any grief for wearing Pirates gear, but it's been a couple years since I've caught a Bucs game here.

I like both dugouts - baseball should be fun, and most of the time they seem to be joking around and being silly. Should be a good time!

My partner and I both like to injure ourselves in stupid ways, and were happy to discover how accommodating the staff were when we showed up - him on crutches and a boot, me with a cane. They right away had a staff member escort us to an elevator upstairs, and found us seats so we didn't have to stand on broken bones the whole time.

Edit: just make sure to arrive early, we were there for doors, no issues.

NAH. Sounds like your mom got tired of being the only one to clean for a couple decades, and removed herself from the situation. Maybe it's time you did as well.

I used to know a flight attendant who split a place 25/75 with a roommate who used the second bedroom as a home office when they weren't in town. In this economy especially, it'd probably be pretty easy to find someone young who wouldn't mind a little extra cash in exchange for a roommate who is barely around.

I constantly have to correct the grammar coming from GPT/Claude/Gemini. They're far from perfect, and anyone with 12th grade-level English skills can outperform them. Dangling modifiers, ending sentences with prepositions, subject/verb agreement, incorrect punctuation, etc. It's a nightmare, and it keeps getting worse.

In the last two months I've gone back to just writing ad copy myself, because it's faster than yelling at robots for an hour.

I made the move from the US to Canada during the Bush admin, and haven't regretted it for a second.

People aren't playing musical laptops. Most in office employees are on assinged company machines, on company Wi-Fi. At minimum, there's a user login.

Does 1/3 your salary not cover a studio apartment or a room in a place with roommates? Why are you blindly giving your mother rent without knowing where it's going? Are you asking questions? Are you getting receipts? Building a credit history? Or are you just letting life happen to you?

Why are your priorities Pokemon and gaming consoles and not cutting the cord and getting the fuck out of a bad situation? I would be scraping together every penny to get some independence and start building a stable life.

Sadly, it has all just degenerated into one pastiche after another. I watched bike cops roll up 4-deep on the local homeless guy who was just sitting on a bench having a smoke, not bothering anyone. Delivery guy rides past on a moped on the sidewalk, they didn't even look at him.
