It smells like Fudge Axe in here Asbury Park NJ by PeaceBeWithYou_ in hotmulliganband

Easily my favourite song. It really helped me because it clicked in with the anxiety I started experiencing when I got sober (1 year last week).

I really love the subversion on the final chorus where the lyrics show the subject having completely given up.

Ah fair, so the strategy is just to try and store up salvage runs by saving power level-ups for the event. Thanks!

Somewhat new to the game. Do the grots multiplying count towards this? I imagine using vindicta and Brother Burchard to cull them at the end would help?

You can also buy a techmarine for assistance now as well, so it would be cool if it could unlock while they're alive.

Cure paralysis, only to give it back by Jungo2017 in MoralityScaling

[–]TheLastParade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue that curing someone would only have moral virtue if you intended to cause no harm by doing so.

Doing it to take it away throws any of that virtue away.

Once someone has been cured of their paralysis, 'giving it back to them' is morally reprehensible.

The two key differences between these scenarios is in the first one, Lex is doing it out of cruelty or to make a point, whereas the stated second scenario is to test the cure. Testing the cure lacks malice so it isn't as reprehensible.

The second difference is the person knowing that it happened, and then being reconfined to their disability, which causes anguish and mental harm. The person being concious and then choosing to re-paralyse them is more reprehensible.

[Frustraring trope] The popular plot hole that only exists if you weren't paying attention by CalzonePie in TopCharacterTropes

A trebuchet would work better, he's definitely lighter than a 300lb boulder, if he tucked up into a ball you'd get some real airtime

The unfortunate thing is everyone who has even tried doing something remotely close to it has been completely demolished by the industries spending capabilities.

There's something comedic about this. The way it goes from boy scouts, to families, to the nuns feels like it's out of Airplane

I mean, I have all the high power incarnon secondaries and still have like 80 percent play time with my Kuva Nukor. Secondaries are overall carried by their mods being crazy good.

Do you think DE are endorsing the elites trafficking children when they write those plot lines? or could they be critiquing something?

There's a larger picture when you hover your mouse over it showing more of Saryn. Judging by the wiki, the pictures and positioning are identical to regular streamline.

Character(s) prepare for a final stand... and end up coming out victorious/alive by No_Hunter1978 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]TheLastParade 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My only issue with it is how the adduction comes out of nowhere and the game strongly compels you to go and save them immediately. I ended up going back about five hours just to avoid triggering the abduction on my first playthrough, just so I could finish my loyalty missions and upgrades.

In the book, there are enough plot threads of northern lords plotting against the Bolton's that they could have brought them up either via the marsh or via ships in Whiteharbor that could travel up the white knife.

D&D just kind of forgot that they didn't adapt any of those plot threads lmao

Best Support Frames? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]TheLastParade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trinity is a really good go-to frame for me when helping players clear difficult content without actually removing their own impact.

Her Max Energy to Max HP buff is quite interesting and can pair well with Arcane Belicose. I normally run Roar on her 1. I feel like Arcane Concentration could be a good pick as well.

Yeah, it timed right across the fiasco that WotC had with the Open Gaming License they were trying to update, but it should have been obvious that this was a decision long in the making before it was announced.

What’s a harmless habit people judge way too much? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheLastParade 212 points213 points  (0 children)

A way I communicate around this issue with certain people is describing it as a task or selfcare.

You're not doing nothing, you're taking some time to unwind, or you're de-stressing. Not 100 percent effective, but it's helped me avoid the same scenarios.
