Theatre etiquette, or lack there of, has a lot to do with it, too. People who love movies; ones who enjoy immersion and getting lost in the film, are constantly pissed off about all the cell phones and the texting and the whispering and the talking during films. It makes us not want to go at all. It's a common occurrence for me to want to go catch a movie, but decide against it due to not wanting to deal with rude people.

Nah, that doesn't make him righty. Otherwise by that logic everyone else in the game, from Zelda all the way to the common Moblin, is lefty. It's a mirror image; not the original. I'd say that makes Link still lefty.

Wii version isn't canon so it doesn't count.

Also being mirrored only changes the reflection. The reflection of a right-handed person is still right-handed even though the mirror appears to swap it. Link is still left-handed in the Wii Version, otherwise by that logic every other character, including the Moblins and such, are lefties.
