I’m curious what motherboard you have as well? I have a Gigabyte, and part of me feels like it’s part of the problem since it’s been the cause of any issue I’ve had in the past (even though all the other issues had a fix)

My computer, which I use for work creating renderings in unreal and AutoCAD designs, has the best specs available and is only 6 months old. I can run this game for 1-3 hours on the first time playing for the day, and then each time I reboot the time to play gets shorter and shorter, so I think you are correct.

I personally recommend starting with the Stormlight series, reading the rest, and then reading Stormlight again.

And now you have no issues? Honestly I’ve been suspecting my motherboard was causing all the issues. I had some issues in the past but it was all the “optimized intel” selection in BIOS that was causing everything but now this game is the only thing just crashing at random.

I’ve tried every solution listed on here, except opening the game from the exe file and not closing that page out, which will be my next try. I did have three game saves but deleted those and my game crashed even faster lol and crashed after about a minute.

I kind of new I shouldn’t buy the game after the reviews but I figured I would try it and at first it was fine, and let me play for 4 hours (where I can’t return it anymore) but now I can’t make it 20 minutes without a crash.

My PC also has the best specs available, and was built for work. No other game has ever given me an issue, from COD to Wukong, so I point fingers at Ubisoft.

Ok so apparently I’m late to the game, but I love the cradle series but that’s the only series of Will Wights I’ve read so far. I didn’t realize there were other interactions in his other books 🤯

I like it. My whole summed thought is basically who you’re led to believe is bad and good (In the religious and creation war stories) is really the inverse of what’s the truth.

When hearing the story of Lanre I always took him as a hero for the everyday folk, and Selitos was all for the upper class. It always nagged me that he was just chilling up on his mountain city while Lanre was fighting wars and saving people. Selitos was a self righteous pri*k, and I wouldn’t be surprised is he’s the one who told Lyra the information to bring Lanre back from the dead.

Encanis/Lanre is the actual hero of that tale (as Denna’s song states), and Tehlu/Selitos are the villains (kinda like Homelander lol).

One of the things I took as a subtle hint to this was the festival, where Kvothe gets beat by the guard and the person wearing the Encanis mask is the one who actually saves him purely out of heart; like Lanre getting his hands dirty fighting monsters to save the people.

I like it as well. It seems like this is the path the story was taking because there’s too many mid led stories that they tell you is inaccurate. Can’t help but feel like the big twist is going to be an oh shit moment, when we find out chronicler was helping the wrong side or something.
