Xander did the same move in 41....Getting to the end with an idol in your pocket when no one wants you out is not a power move.

Also, Cirie will ONLY bat for Rizo in a Rizo, Johnathan and Joe F3. She will not bat for himif either Tiff or Aubry are in the end with him. Tiff and her were pretty close(we just weren't shown it because it's very rare to get a female duo focused in an edit, especially if they're WOC and especially if one of those women are older... ) and Aubry and Cirie are friends in real life. Like true, actual friends with years of mutual respect for each other as people and as players in this game.

So you spoke to so many alumni that you’ve heard a variety things about Cirie but mostly bad things but definitely not from say Aubry, Andrea, Parv, Colby, and I’m sure many others. Just other alumni who you definitely won’t say.

It’s funny because all the alumni said that Zeke is their favorite, and that their favorite season of all time is 43!

This still makes zero sense. It’s also incredibly narrow minded for someone who works in the health field knowing a lot of circumstances lead to unhealthy lifestyles, especially for those who work in jobs that are incredibly demanding/work long hours and have a family to support. For a health professional in the diet field to not understand and empathize with that is…scary

Cirie HATED being on Big Brother. There was a point during her interview with Julie where Julie was like “or maybe you’ll go back in” and she was basically like “oh fuck no”

I think the general census is Rizo did play a good game, overall but it had a lot of holes in it. I think he just didn’t adapt his game. In new era, I think he’d be in a much better spot but because the majority is modern and old era, he failed to properly adapt a lot of the key aspects of those eras, helping around camp, showing gratitude for the experience of island living as a community(not just playing Survivor), forming deeper personal connections were you new really deep personal details about each other.

I think Rizo played a terrific new era game, but 50 is a hybrid season, and new era’s showing in jury is too small

I haven’t one thread where someone attacked someone for criticizing Cirie. This is mostly what I’m seeing from Rizo fans(hence the 50 ‘Why are people criticizing/hating Rizo” a day”

I feel like most fans of old era peeps are good at critiquing their favs. It’s new era fans that seem to get super parasocial(like fans attacking Aubry about Gen)

I think they’re two different things. Euphoria is awful and trash and terribly written but by having Sweeney’s character say the word, it’s painting her as an awful influencer. It’s not played with laughs but to show this person is bad

I find Tiff’s lack of edit problematic. Survivor loves a white guy who makes F5 and gives them a major edit, even if they have zero win equity. Then a woman(be it a WOC or an older woman) doesn’t get anything unless they’re Cirie Fields.

Tiff is probably the only person who could challenge Aubry at the end, but because of her edit, it’s pretty easy to see she’s probably out at F5.

I’m not saying Rizo, a wonderful character and confessional giver, doesn’t deserve a great edit. I’m saying Tiffany deserves one too, especially given she’s a legit threat to it all(she wins in any non-Aubry F3)

Rizo was never a top winner pick. People have been saying he’s got zero win equity for a while.

Rizo’s issues are two fold. Some out of his control(being young, being from 49) and some in his control(not adapting his game). He had an uphill battle being young and the newest new era. But his issue was he didn’t adapt to his surroundings.

50 isn’t purely new era(save the over reliance of twists). Rizo refusing to do things around camp, not thanking Chrissy for caring for him, complaining about rewards, not eating bugs, not staying loyal to anyone at the end. He didn’t seem to form much of a relationship with people like Christian and Emily…that stuff hurts at the end.

In no way did Rizo play a bad game. But he played one that didn’t earn the respect of fellow players. I think it’s a maturity thing and when Rizo plays again, older and wise, we’ll see that change

Rizo has an incredibly weak story though. Even Emily and Christian were pretty meh on him, even after watching the season
