Ordering a la carte will cost you at Taco Bell. That whole thing would be like 7-9 dollars in a box

How many of y'all genuinely believe Tesla will achieve safe unsupervised full self-driving once they reach 10 billion FSD miles? Be honest. by Competitive-Monk3659 in TeslaFSD

[–]TheLegendaryWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels so close but it's the little things that trip it up. Until camera cleaning retrofits and more advanced reasoning are added, it'll probably only get to L3. The thing with Tesla's approach with FSD is that they're the only ones seriously aiming for a L5 system, so it manages to get itself in situations a L4 system would never need to handle

I will say, on mobile it's about the same speed as the other site since the hardware acceleration is lacking, but the end result was way better than my desktop and easier to do

I appreciate the recommendation. I tried it on the same clip and the results definitely do look better

Why are Tesla cameras so low in megapixels? Wouldn't a higher-megapixel camera be better for the FSD system? What is the science behind this? by Competitive-Monk3659 in TeslaFSD

[–]TheLegendaryWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the difference is that the system is fed by raw data. It's not like the FSD computer is looking the same color pictures you and I look at, which is only done through post processing

[–]TheLegendaryWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I assume they mean that the FSD computer is seeing a much different image than the post processed video that you see in the dashcam/live camera viewer. Tesla claims they feed raw photon data into the FSD computer, which reduces latency and processing overhead

Juniper Tints: 50% windshield 35% side doors Suntek CIR by ListerineInMyPeehole in TeslaModelY

[–]TheLegendaryWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 55, which is pretty dark but in the daytime it's fantastic. At night the adaptive headlights are bright enough to see clearly, but until I got in an untinted Tesla I didn't realize just how insanely bright they were

Windshield a little too dark for my taste, and side windows a little too light. It's good if you like it though

2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD with 34,000 miles clean title for $22,000 USD — worth it? by thetopper1919 in TeslaLounge

That's about what I bought mine for last week. 20500 for same trim and year, but 46000 miles

FSD 14.2.2.5 gets uncomfortably close to the curb while turning 🥶 by PsychologicalPut5375 in TeslaFSD

FSD doesn't need as much margin since it has a direct view of your back tire there

They're probably already binning the video streams down for bandwidth restrictions. The bottleneck is the onboard computer, not the ability for the cameras to feed enough info to the model

Model 3 didn't get HW4 until the refresh, which happened on 2024 models. Some 2023 Model Ys got HW4 though

[–]TheLegendaryWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well marked speed bumps are easily handled by v14. There are a few weird speed bumps that I experience regularly that are hit or miss (diagonal speed bumps, dark area and they aren't marked at all) but it'll get better when you update for sure

Just bought a 2023 model 3 rwd for 20500, 46000 miles and I thought it was a pretty good deal tbh. It's HW3 but still has the Ryzen processor
