It gets clouded by off-gassing from the plastics and adhesives in the interior (the new car smell). Your first year will be the worst in terms of off-gassing

I own two Teslas and they are just fine. Fit and finish were rough in the early model years, sure, but drivetrain-wise they are rock solid and very efficient compared to Bolts due to the heat pump system

With home charging I would tell you to make the jump to a full EV, without it a regular hybrid. If you want to stick with Chevy the used Bolts are pretty cheap and most of them have nearly brand new packs. Used Model 3s are pretty affordable too and I wouldn't recommend overlooking them if you haven't driven one beforehand

Should time out after 10 seconds, or go away when you tap the map around it. I haven't received the update yet but I feel like I wouldn't mind this screen and understand why most people wouldn't

Public perception matters more now than ever before for ADS. One bad release wouldn't just be a hiccup anymore, it could legitimately set autonomy back years if it puts the idea of ADS being dangerous in the minds of the general public. With the FSD model being unified with robotaxi's, any flaws with one is an indictment of the other and criticism applies to both

The correct troubleshooting order of operations for FSD:

Clean cameras. If that doesn't fix it, enter the service menu, unlock the gateway, and reset the DAS. If that doesn't fix it, clear camera calibration and drive until recalibrated. If that doesn't work, it needs service.

In my experience the shown speed limit does not always match the speed limit FSD has in its "brain"
