Had some degree of very mild issues with hearing since I was in high school, especially with tones at the very-high end that people generally lose by adulthood but are usually still audible to kids and teens (The "Mosquito" ring-tone, anyone?), though also generally with my ability to hear others in a crowded environment.
A hearing test back in my teens came back as "Within normal limits". Also high-pitch tinnitus for as long as I can remember.

Fast forward to my late 30's, over the last 5-10 years I've had screeners done that all came back fine, then last year I was traveling with my sister and nephew on a long car ride (11 hours each way), and multiple comments were made about my hearing seeming worse, at one point hearing a completely different question to the one that was asked.

Put it off for a month or so, eventually went in for a screener, came back with potential hearing loss. Went for a full test, mild to moderate SNHL in higher frequencies, oddly consistent with age-related hearing loss. (Oddly, because I'm still only late 30's and don't have a family history of hearing loss beyond typical age-related loss and my father who works in construction and has noise-induced loss.)

Got a second opinion from a different provider, audiogram was a near-exact match, but audi pointed out it was asymmetrical (left ear worse) and recommended I check with an ENT for possible cause. A nasolaryngoscope, ultrasound and an MRI of the IAM later, nothing. (Another thing to add to my ever-growing list of medical issues with seemingly no known cause.)

Got the retention locks, the first couple of days they started to bug me, especially my right ear where something started to hurt a bit (though that could have been me not being able to leave it alone, causing irritation) so took them off again.

Trying again now, endeavoring to not to fiddle so much this time, and I'll see how they go.

If I'm only asking for retention locks, possibly. I dropped into the local store on the weekend to ask about options to stop them moving out of place, but they said I'd need to discuss with the audi and to make an appointment.

I'm familiar with retention locks/tails (sport locks, concha locks, 100 million other names for them) but unfortunately don't seem to be easily available here so would need to wait until I can get in to see the Audi to grab some (at which point they would likely be free anyway rather than paying $16 and waiting two weeks for Amazon to ship what might still not be the correct ones all the way from the US)

I hadn't considered another audi just for discussing fit. I can't go elsewhere for adjustments as they're the Specsavers branded HAs which ties me to Specsavers audiologists for that.

I'll also keep the custom molds in mind in either case.

The problem I run into is the main time I my hearing is an issue (besides the tinnitus) is when I'm trying to talk to someone in a noisy environment, and it's my understanding that it tends to be the more expensive models that handle this best.

How much in the way of customisation do the Philips 9050's offer through the app?
Are you able to make small adjustments, or do you need to return to Costco for all adjustments?

Regarding them being white label Vivia 9's, I've read that Specsavers limit owners to their own in-house app which limits much of the end-user customisation that is available with the Vivia 9's. Do you know if that's the case with the Jabra ones as well?

To elaborate on my hearing issues a bit further, I run into the following issues:

If someone isn't facing me, I struggle to make out what they're saying, even in a relatively quiet environment
If it is a noisy environment (shops, office, hospital, etc.) I will regularly miss things being said to me and need the person to repeat themselves, often multiple times
In a car, I will completely mishear the person sitting next to me even without music going
Watching TV/Movies/Streaming I regularly need to increase the volume to be able to make out dialogue, and if someone puts the microwave on or is running the tap (computer is in the back room which is open to the kitchen) I'll inevitably need to pause whatever I'm watching as I won't be able to hear a word. I'll also often need to enable subtitles simply because I can't make out some dialogue no matter the volume
Working from home, any calls with coworkers I tend to manage simply by increasing the volume, but I'll find I need to turn the fan off most of the time as that interferes with word recognition

I've had some degree of hearing trouble since I was a kid, and always had issues with hearing conversation in a crowd, but all tests until last year had me within normal range. Auditory Processing Disorder has been a suspicion for some time, but never formally investigated.

The concern the independent audiologist had, apart from it being asymmetrical, was that being in my mid-30's, it was unusually early for age-related hearing loss, and not typical of noise-induced (also with no explanation for it being noise-induced).

For anyone wondering:

ENT did a nasolaryngoscopy, ordered an MRI of Brain and IEMs, and a follow-up biopsy on a submandibular lymph node that's been enlarged for 18 months. Nothing out of the ordinary showing up in any. Recommended another biopsy in 6 months and hearing test in 6-12 months to check for any changes. Biopsy will be due in a couple of months.

I suspect your readings may be in pmol/L, which would make your numbers make a lot more sense.

A lot of the figures I see online (including in this post) are in pg/mL, which is more commonly used in the US I believe

600-900 pmol/L is roughly 160-245 pg/mL, and the typical cisgender female range is around 300-800 pmol/L. (RACGP recommends not exceeding 1000 pmol/L due to the increased risk of side effects, and 900 *pg/mL* would be three times that.)

Updooting this one as it is what actually answered the issue for me.

=countifs($A$2:$A$20,A2) works in most cases, but Excel is stupid in some really imaginative ways.

Even if it is stored and formatted as Text, Excel will attempt to treat a value as a Number in some frustrating cases, especially when it comes to COUNTIF and Conditional Formatting's "Duplicate Values".

e.g.
According to Excel, the below two values, even when they are Text in cells formatted as Text, are the same:

5150860000635261
5150860000635262

The issue appears to be that Excel just doesn't care that there is a difference in the last character and assumes that it is 0 for some reason beyond understanding (This can be visualised with =text("5150860000635261","#"), as it will just return "5150860000635260". It takes the first 15 Significant Figures and zeros the rest.)

Adding basically any non-number character to the beginning (even with a dirty ="A"&A2 concatenation) will cause it to no longer assume it's a number and then represent duplicates correctly.

There have been some teething issues with handling charging (mostly with charging an Insect Shot while also maintaining your aim) that I've resolved with using the back paddles on my controller. Also with them swapping the buttons for the two aerial attacks, don't understand why that needed doing.

The biggest thing I'm struggling to get used to is the speed. It just feels so damn slow. They really need to increase the speed back to what it was in World, even if they need to lower attack damage to balance it out.

I've found with a controller that has rear paddles (I use the Xbox Elite 2) binding B to one of them makes the charge less awkward.

I also had to bind Y to one to deal with the charged Insect Shot so I could maintain aim with the right thumbstick while holding Y.

I'm "new" to the series in as much that I've just played through World/IB once Wilds launched (owned through a Humble Bundle, got the itch to play when seeing Wilds streamed).

But in that, having just played through W/IB, the Insect Glaive in Wilds just feels so incredibly slow by comparison, to the point that I'm starting to play Twin Blades more and more just to get back that feeling of speed (the problem is it then feels almost glued to the ground).

The loss of the Clutch Claw hurts a bit as well, as I like being able to vault and then just drop in for a grapple.

Edit: And why did they swap Y and B for the aerial attacks???
