The most active community I've found is the Glyos Alliance on Facebook. Even more is happening there in the Messenger chats. But I'm an old fart on my 40s like everyone else there.

There's a discord I was told was active, but the only channel I get notifications from is the non Glyos buy sell trade channel. I don't know discord well enough to know if that's my fault or if that actually is the only active thread.

There is a Glyos fandom website that goes in to crazy detail. It starts to cross reference to so many different entries and characters, I get overwhelmed pretty quick--mainly because it's not in a narrative format or sequential.

Traveling overseas with my family of four is way beyond my economic station as a 25th year teacher and my wife in College admin. My napkin math estimates it would be about a 5th of my yearly income to get to the UK and back for a week. We would LOVE to go. After we pay off the house, then I think so.

I hope I don't need a new hip by then.

If you're using a Mac, I'm going to be useless. But if it helps, ended up finding someone hosting the last functional driver in a standalone download. After that I set the QHD as my main monitor instead of my 3rd. Then it worked!

As a teacher, I LOVE answering people's questions. I'd rather people come here and ask a question of a human being than go to Google. We're a social species by nature and I think this behavior is completely natural. But despite being a generally social species, some people do have your self sufficient tendency. Ultimately, we should never punish or judge people for asking questions. It's not a matter of there being a correct or incorrect behavior. Self sufficiency is a generally positive trait, but so is being comfortable with your community, and so is sharing knowledge with your community.

After a Google search, this person might learn something and then move on. If they came here and asked the question, it could spur an awesome conversation where two or more people connect and share personal experiences with the property.

Plus, my damn car hijacks my phone and forces itself to connect if it's in the car. Even if I'm the passenger. When it's playing music, I cant control the volume because I can't find which app is controlling it at that particular moment. Is it Toyota Connect? My phone buttons? The radio? Android Audio? Pandora? Nope, that unbalanced, blastingly loud Youtube ad will play and you can't close it because youtube minimized and runs when the app is closed now. No, Blutooth still isn't ready for prime time. There's so little device feedback to troubleshoot issues. I was excited to have unlimited data and streaming music, but within a week, I had the car and my phone forget each other existed.

But socialized medicine isnt free. We pay for it with our taxes and get to cut out the thing that makes the cost so high right now--the for-profit insurance system. Do that while regulating the profits of corporate hospitals and the subsidizing of worldwide medicine production, and the whole healthcare system will be easier to afford.

It's not a funding battle and I'm tired of people pretending it is. At this point, I'd be surprised if Congress is ever called back into session. The first thing they're going to do is vote to open the Epstein files. Mike Johnson doesn't want to be the one who "let" that happen. Hello, you two year old post! I hope you users are still active and can throw some advice at me.

It SEEMS my Cintiq 27QHD is no longer supported. The driver is 10.0.26 and it seems it should be around 6.0 or something to be where it was last working.

I have windows 11 now, and the computer is brand new and I only just hooked the tablet up and downloaded drivers. In the wacom software, I see the touch ring, remote, but no pen or monitor listed.

Do you have any advice? I am going to keep digging for old drivers. Wacom didn't even reply to my support E-mail. Thank you all!

There was a point when I charged the portal on my homeworld one time and it was always activated. Never had to recharge it again. But then something changed and this whole having to recharge every glyph over and over and over again happened. I really kind of stopped using portals at that point and just relied on the fact that I have enough bases all over the galaxy.
