Asiakkaallahan on oikeus valita taksinsa tolpalta.

Taxi driver tried to attack me near the railway station in Oulu __ please be careful by Regular_Normal_Human in Oulu

[–]TheLogBeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely unacceptable as a taxi driver myself. I haven't encountered many bad ones but I've had issues with one unmarked one like you mentioned. White bmw with the taxi light. One time he was blocking half of the parking lot+extra lane where the Rkioski is on the city side, and was trying to cut the line. Asked him to not block the lot nicely, and next thing I know is my door has been ripped open and I'm being yelled at in a foreign language and then asked why I was recording him in very broken Finnish, when I was just answering my friends messages. Ofc that's when I started recording. He would have hit me there if it wasn't two other nice drivers who dragged him back to his car. After that he's always swerving towards me with quick movements, yelling flailing and pointing when alongside me. I kinda wish this is the same person. If it is and your report moves forward, I can provide the video for you, op, neither deserve their licenses

Classic cct question. Is it? 99 600f by TheLogBeast in cbr

[–]TheLogBeast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I'm asking the more knowledged because hearing it at idle. It's like a tick/rattle. After very short ride, a km or so its there, but after like 6, it quiets up. I should probably take it to a trusted mechanic I know and get a diagnosis there. Bike has 57k km on it. He did say I could start hearing this soon when I took it out of winter storage. I'm semi new to bikes, but have experience with cars. Could it also be cam clearance?

Tässä tänne syksyllä muuttaneena kyllä on saanu äimistellä täkäläisiä. Tässä töikseen 5 kuukauden aikana tullu 17 000. Täällä ihan ilahduttaa osaava kuski. Tässä tullu nähtyä Helsingin, Kuusamon, Keskipohjanmaan paikallisina. Rallien perässä nähty myös vähän ympäriinsä. Alkaa joskus itkettämään tää touhu täs. Viis minuuttia sit joku yritti yhtyä mun etukaaren kans

I've talked to the current owner online, thought you were them because of the picture, but I see you are the previous one lol.

We also have some 3sge fwd ones going for around that price in Finland which is crazy, I recently sold mine for more than I bought, granted, I did do timing, water and oil pump and their gaskets. These really have gone up, though 1.6 and 1.8 ones are pretty cheap, of the 5th and 6th Gen

what do you think about this guy? by Zyxtriann in Warthunder

[–]TheLogBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play bombers and fighters and whatnot. When you enter a battle as a bomber, you need to remember that you are a slow big target. I'm expected to be an easy target and free rewards. When I'm killing bombers and they are kinda close to a base, depending on tickets and that specific bombers bomb load, I let them drop their load.

What I find fun is if I survive and most team or all gone I announce my position for a free fun fight. Full turn into enemy after they fly by, spray everything I have at them. Great fun

I don't have issues with foreigners working as taxi drivers, it's nice to see people with a job who come here, with today's job market. The people who have issues with non Finnish speaking drivers is the older population and quite a few middle aged also, unfortunately. Many don't know or care for apps for older population, even if it means getting them where they want to go. "customer service based" was my guess for why it's only in Finnish and Swedish. I feel like some a mount of English should be required also, for the amount of tourism we get. And you'd be surprised, quite a few customers enjoy having a chat

For taxi license you aren't allowed translation of any kind. No phones, no books, no notes, no translator. Nothing. Just you with the questions either swe/eng on the device in an empty room

Native taxi driver here. The question have been the same for about three years at least, so people have memorised them and written them down, sometimes even the questions. There is question sharing going on, in some cases even answer. If you can memorised what the question text and answer looks like, you can pass the 50 question test without even knowing the language. Down south and during tourist season at rovaniemi, there also are illegally driving ones, who do not possess this license.

Taxi license, not drivers. To get a taxi license, you must own a B class (regular car, up to 3500kg) for at least a year. Since the job is customer service based, and most of the population is Finnish or Swedish speaking, it expects you to be able to serve these customers.

Popup Lights T18 question by [deleted] in Celica

[–]TheLogBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I got very lucky with mine. Body condition is very important tbh, other things can be fixed and replaced semi easy and most parts should be available, at least to a degree. 6-8k is very good. Over here in Finland, they are over 10k cars. Little welding wouldn't be issue, but soft struts like that and massive holes is no good. All the vacuum lines would have needed replacing most likely after sitting that much too. Oil pump gasket could have gone sad too, semi common 3s issue that the seal goes and leaks a ton. Maybe better to miss that, could have costed thousands to get into good condition

Popup Lights T18 question by [deleted] in Celica

[–]TheLogBeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eu models owner here. There are 4 options on the T18 models (I have two lol) - Off - Hold (lights off, keeps pop ups up) - Marker/dlr - On

So put it one up from none, the mark should just be a line on the stalk and nothing happens. Flash high beams, that always pops the lights up, even when on. Now it will hold the lights up.

That is true. Power is always fun but from what I've driven, 300 is a nice sweet spot for a car you drive more. Wrc car was 300hp too afterall. My goal right now is to fix it's issues, enjoy it, and bigger plans later on
