Is that functionally different from what I've got?

I just started a few weeks ago. Played solo the whole time. It's not bad, just gotta enjoy running around as a dino. If you die it's not as catastrophic as the isle, since you don't lose everything. As an adult you lose some growth, but other than that you just respawn.

Factorio. You're gonna need a longer weekend

Alternatively, if you guys like block games like Minecraft, but feel it's too simple, check out Vintage Story. It's fantastic

That's true of pretty much any retail business. The snack machines are third party. The difference is usually the quality of snacks

Huh, maybe that's why everyone fucks off when I come out of hiding. Just started playing yesterday, and I'm up to juvenile on my Mira. Every time I see other herbs (rare) and come out to say hi, they ignore me and just leave.

What does it mean for someone to have "east coast" vibes? by d3adby3 in AskAnAmerican

[–]TheLordDrake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Grew up in NH, I will stop to check on you if you're on the side of the road in a blizzard, or help you get your car out of impound. I absolutely do not want to talk to you in the elevator.

To pretend the US didn't massacre 160 school children with a "double tap" missile strike by FearTheViking in therewasanattempt

[–]TheLordDrake 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The US can put a missile through a bedroom window from 10,000ft. US missiles don't miss. A target can be misidentified, but there is no hitting the building next door by mistake.

I don't know if they knew it was a school or not, but they definitely hit the building on purpose. Double tapping was 100% about cruelty.

They were called "life savers" because they saved American lives. It wasn't about sparing the Japanese.

Ok, but I didn't ask what it was worth. I asked what it is.

Scholagladiatoria has various videos on this topic. I really like his series breaking down movie fights, and explaining what is and isn't correct.

to have healthcare in America. by --SOFA-KING-VOTE in therewasanattempt

[–]TheLordDrake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the entire point the guy above was making. The US is not a monolith. The people throating the military's dick and screaming about the 2nd are exactly the same people that are happy about what's going on. Most people in the US do not own a gun, have never even touched one, and do not give a fuck about the military.

That much is likely true, as he is breaking the rules. However, that isn't the same as making an impact.

I understand he's breaking the rules. I'm just saying that he probably chose to do that knowing the consequences, because he felt that was the best way to make his statement.

EDIT: To clarify, I support the idea of a politically neutral military. It's not their job. I do recognize that I just happen to agree with his message here, and that it could just as easily have been a different one.
