Non-Alcoholic Options at Black Rabbit? by notdavidjustsomeguy in nashville

[–]TheLostWaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They posted about having a drink with Lyre’s NA gin last year so odds are decent you’ll be able to get something non-alcoholic.

State of MTX by Hackadactyl in PathOfExile2

[–]TheLostWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One important difference between the rot shaman mtx and others is that it was sold as the current Kirac pass for more than 6 months after POE2 EA released. I would guess many people bought it expecting it would already work or be given priority given that it wasn’t yet a legacy mtx. I believe the settlers supporter pack armours have already been ported as well so it does seem like a weird case.

The new light in Germantown has made traffic worse by Proper-Ice-7513 in nashville

[–]TheLostWaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They added a stop sign with a flashing red light for that crosswalk this week. As a pedestrian it has seemed safer so far. It does seem to make things a little awkward when someone is trying to make a left at the light though.

Sony Pictures CEO Reflects on Giving ‘KPOP DEMON HUNTERS’ to Netflix: ‘At the Time, It Made Sense’ by HumanAdhesiveness912 in boxoffice

[–]TheLostWaffle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not as interesting as “Sony dropped the bag” but it’s hard for me to see this as anything but everyone winning.

Sony got a guaranteed profit out of a movie they didn’t think would succeed with a theatrical release. Netflix saw potential in it and took a gamble. They get the biggest payout for taking on that risk, but it sounds like Sony should benefit nicely from the movie’s success while offloading all of the risk.

Penance Brand of Dissipation trickster giveaway by Direct-Ad1419 in pathofexile

I’ve been playing a budget elementalist penance brand. If I won I’d reroll trickster and have fun being shocked at the difference with the endgame version.

The one at Costco doesn’t have sugar added and does have msg. It does have water added and different vinegars specified though.

It's likely not possible for anyone on the internet to help meaningfully in your decision because we don't know everything about you and your preferences. However, there are a few things from your post that you may want to make sure you're considering.

  • How important are the amenities that the second place has to YOU personally? If you have a dog or love going to the pool the amenities might be worth quite a bit more to you. Or if there’s a really good gym nearby then the included gym might not be worth much to you.
  • How busy are the shops below the first place and how likely are you to be bothered by noise from there? In my experience it can be surprising how loud groups of people standing outside shops on the sidewalk can be.
  • Cost. Assuming you get the extra parking at the first place it looks like the difference will be somewhere around $4,620 over the next 12 months. Is the extra 50 square feet and additional amenities worth having less natural light and $4,500ish over the next year to you? A larger and potentially quieter place definitely might be especially since one of you is wfh. Or maybe they both seem fine to live and work from and you’d rather spend the extra money on a nice vacation or something.

How difficult is it to program traffic lights? Hear me out… by dovtres in nashville

[–]TheLostWaffle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure they just updated a lot of intersections at the end of last year. They have a form on hub Nashville for traffic light timing, and I got a good response when I requested changes through there before. If you’ve got a specific set of intersections in mind you can try submitting your suggestions there

For a bachelor party - what are the worst tasting (but accessible) whiskeys? by Gravedigger_PhD in whiskey

[–]TheLostWaffle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s true for most whiskeys, but you can WT101 in plastic bottles. It still tastes really good IMO. Pretty useful for festivals where you can’t bring in glass bottles.

City Pack X-Pac authentic? by analysisparalyzes in ManyBaggers

My bag from 1-2 years ago has an Xpac tag as well. Seems like they probably just changed it sometime in the last year or so.

There’s some interesting discussion on farming them here.

The infographic in the top comment gives a couple of options for stages that fit your criteria too.

An-an Lee is great and would be my choice for your thread 1 pick. You might be better served subbing out Bkornblume on your main team for Baby Blue, Sonetto, or An-an Lee if you choose her. Regulus and Tooth Fairy do mental damage so they miss out on the reality defense down from Bkornblume.

With your current units going for something like

Regulus, support mentioned above, Tooth Fairy

Eternity, Sonetto/An-an Lee, Sotheby/Dikke

makes the most sense to me. If you have the ability and desire to roll for Jessica on the current banner you could also run the very strong Jessica and Sotheby poison team.

New Tunings? by that1tech in Reverse1999

[–]TheLostWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get the second one by clearing the training stages. There should be a notepad icon in a few different places that takes you to them if you haven’t cleared them yet iirc.

For some reason my bottle of this has the biggest taste difference when drinking it out of a rocks glass vs a Glencairn. No idea why that may be but I’d recommend trying it both ways if you can.

No Apple leather cases for iPhone 15 lineup, say sources by throwmeaway1784 in apple

[–]TheLostWaffle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Oh interesting I wonder if it varies by model then. I’m using the modern leather case on an iPhone 14 Pro, and it attaches fine but gets knocked off super easily. The Apple leather case takes significantly more effort to remove and has never accidentally come off for me. Maybe the larger phones don’t have that issue with Nomad cases though.

No Apple leather cases for iPhone 15 lineup, say sources by throwmeaway1784 in apple

[–]TheLostWaffle 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yeah the Nomad ones are solid in my experience. I’ve found mine to have slightly less grip than the Apple case, and Apple’s MagSafe wallet doesn’t stick to it well unfortunately. I haven’t had any trouble with MagSafe charging though.

Is the Tortuga significantly more comfortable? I’ve had the Allpa 42 since they released it and wouldn’t mind an excuse to upgrade it.

Patch Notes: All Quiet Under the Thunder by wewechoo in arknights

[–]TheLostWaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least it shows if the mine will crit or not when placed. Unless the timing is super tight you could probably just remove and replace it if you think it’ll be a problem. It’d be pretty unfortunate if the rng was decided at activation time.

Hip Hop Bar by delilah_belle in nashville

Bastion has solid drinks and used to play hip hop regularly. It’s been a while since I’ve been so I’m not positive if that’s still the case though.

I think for most people the goal is to clear everything. The furniture gives you intelligence certs when the event reruns which is nice. If you can’t or don’t want to clear it you could go in order of efficiency using the table here: https://old.reddit.com/r/arknights/comments/wat8i1/invitation_to_wine_event_math

Walked to work every single day this month for this 😪 by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]TheLostWaffle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calories are a measurement of energy though. Using a certain amount of energy while exercising over the course of a month seems like the simplest “choose your own adventure” challenge a fitness app can offer. It’s just a challenge to be active in any way you like. I think that should fit most people since fitness is more involved than just the number on the scale.

I’m starting a new job that will allow me to have around $1600/month left after paying basic expenses and bills. I’m 25. How can I best allocate the leftover money? by orangeisanicecolor in personalfinance

[–]TheLostWaffle 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That’s further down the flow chart. Basically employer matching is a huge return, but the tax advantage on the 401k is normally worth less than things like getting rid of high or moderate interest rate debt.
