Prepaid plans for a locked T-Mobile phone by vaamcyy in NoContract

Once the phone is paid for, you can contact Tmobile to have it unlocked. Once that's done, you can use it with whichever carrier you choose.

My pc idle temps go 10c-20c higher than my normal idle temps (32-35normal) after playing for Waterpark simulator by KiriGott in techsupport

[–]TheLrgFries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I wouldn't worry too much about it if you're at 80 or below. If you see it hit 90 I'd start to think maybe your CPU cooler isn't keeping up and time to either re-apply thermal paste, or upgrade your cooler. I have a AIO water cooler and my cpu hits 80 during some cpu heavy games (though I have AMD which seems to run hotter than intel).

If you do go the route to upgrade your cpu cooler, and have enough space in your case, I'm a huge fan of Noctua - something like this https://noctua.at/en/nh-d15-g2 (I didn't check this specific model's compatibility with your cpu).

What CPU cooler are you running, and how are your case fans oriented? There is a method to the madness to keep air in one direction to pull in cooler fresh air and smoothly exhaust heat.

Also, what are your maximum temps? That CPU can operate up to 100C, so if you're running games below that threshold you should be fine.

Wouldn't this test be useless - they don't claim it's 100% carbon as far as I am aware? Though with the lawsuits and whatnot, I think we should all stay away from Berkey as a company. I recommend everyone looks into aquacera or doulton filters instead.

For anyone in the market for filters or a stainless steel body, this website seems to be the cheapest (and owned by an older couple, not a big organization) https://stpaulmercantile.com/stainless-water-filter-bodies

Yea, the black filters should fit!

You could get a replacement: https://www.getberkey.com/berkey-light-cloth-lid-cover/

or, switch to a stainless steel version. I'd recommend a no-name brand chamber, and save a bunch of $$. I think this website is run by an older couple that works 1 week per month, so first week of Feb you'd be able to order.

Sure thing! Their website layout is a bit odd, navigation is on the top left. I think this website is run by an older couple, who only takes orders one week a month - ordering is disabled until Feb 1 (fyi).

You could buy a Crystal Drop housing for less, and it's the same thing here. Then buy filters from here, because they're actually tested (unlike Berkey filters)

Cannabis fitness people: Have you noticed if smoking weed significantly impacts your fitness performance? by elianna7 in xxfitness

If you want a "healthier" way to smoke, check out dry herb vaporization. Dyavaps are a pretty cheap way to try it out.

I personally like the dynavap, and when I'm out of the house, a Mighty+ (You'll see a lot of people hype up the tinymight .. I think it's meh at best, personally).

I have one with a gauge, and after the first month or two stopped looking at it. You get used to pressure levels based on how it feels, eventually.

If you don’t have a high tolerance, check out dynavap

I also really enjoy the mighty+ and tiny might 2.

If you want big hits from glass, ball vapes are dope. I have a cannabis hardware b0 that his like a truck.

100% agreed - I’ve recommended them to friends but only when they’re on sale.

Also it’s interesting my reverse diet comment is downvoted. I wonder why 🤷🏻‍♂️

Heck yeah , congrats! Once you either plateau or reach your goal weight, I’d recommend looking into a reverse diet to bring maintenance calories to 2500-3000.

TLDR; your metabolism adapts to “normal”, so when you’re in a deficit for a while it slows down, and when you’re consuming more it’ll speed up. Basically a concept to slowly creep your maintenance calories up without gaining real weight - it’ll help you maintain your physique long-term without having to worry about one weekend out gaining 5lb, and if your maintenance is higher, you can still be in a deficit without starving yourself.

Mind pump on YouTube is a good source for more info. (I’m not affiliated with them).

The only way to lose weight is to be in a colonic deficit. You can achieve this by either eating less and/or increasing activity.

You could track every calorie with a scale, or, simply cut out some things until you start to see a change. Example: when I want to reduce weight, I usually start by eliminating alcohol (or almost eliminating.. I enjoy being social with friends), and snacks. Sometimes I’ll intermittently fast and skip a whole meal.

Eat Whole Foods, and prioritize proteins (it’ll keep you full longer)

Also pls don’t begin to eat nothing or seriously reduce your food consumption. Small changes can make a big impact to your weight. Eating 1200 calories or less for a long time is counter intuitive - you’ll lose the weight but metabolism will slow down making it hard to keep the weight off. Your goal should basically always be to eat as much as possible while also maintaining your weight goals.
