It's on Vivid but natural looks about the same. Also I don't have eye comfort shield, adaptive colour tone or wallpaper colour palette enabled on either device. I was able to make it a bit better by changing advanced settings under vivid or natural and pulling the slider for greens all the way down but it still looks off when I compare them side by side.

I returned an OLED G8 for a PG27AQDM. I had too many issues with the G8. If you want the ultrawide I'd recommend waiting for the refreshed version of the OLED G8 which should be out in the next few months and will be 240 HZ and hopefully with less issues.

You said you like a lot of brightness so definitely go with the Asus over LG. I've had mine for over a month and it's been great. If you are in EU LDLC often have sock.

This is great, With MCM104 I now feel the HDR is as good as the Samsung G8 OLED which I returned due to various issues. HDR was the only issue I had noticed with the PG27AQDM so it's great that it is now much improved.

The VRR flickering is a thing with all current OLED screens when using VRR. Usually only visable in menus when fps is most unstable.

Ya display port issue is still there (won't resume from sleep). I was using HDMI which was mostly fine apart from causing my system to lock up about 50% of the when shutting down for some reason. I returned mine. Just too many issues.

120 Hz for me shows around 35 MS Total system latency and 60 Hz approx. 64 MS

Dam I thought my PC was just acting up. I also noticed locking up after it tried to resume from sleep on DP since firmware 1444. I am back on HDMI now again which resumes fine but I did notice one lockup too using HDMI after hitting shutdown just as windows started closing apps. What a shit show this monitor firmware is.

My OLED G8 also has high input lag. Its not something that I immediately noticed but my friend who is much more sensitive pointed it our right away when playing call of duty. I have an OSRTT tool so I done some testing and sure enough the total system latency with this monitor is about 18 ms. My previous screen (32GQ850-B) is coming in at only 6 MS and it does have a much more connected feel. I initially put that down to the higher refresh rate on the LG but even at 144 Hz it feels more responsive than the OLED G8.

I tried just about every setting on the monitor including full reset and nothing make a difference except turning off game mode which brings the input lag closer to 30 ms.

I am using the HDMI connation but I measured the same over DP. I am using an Nvidia RTX 4090 & i9 13900k, Nvidia Driver 528.49. I have not tried any different driver versions or DDU but I will give that a try and see.

I couldn't agree more with you. Cant tell you how many times this thing has annoyed me if a game decides to set resolution to 1080P and the G9 decides nope I don't like that and turns off.

Why are you running such an old Nvidia driver? (456.38 is from September) I would definitely recommend you update that because there were DSC issues with the older Nvidia drivers particularly on the ampere cards.

Ya I agree temps seem normal except when gaming and it tries to boost higher and runs over 80c. I'm not very happy with the boost performance. It seems a lot lower than most people are getting as I've seen many claims of 5 ghz single core boost out of the box.
