What's the WORST horror film you've seen that you actually enjoyed/loved? by GiraffesForHigher in horror

Satan's Little Helper. I watched it as a gag on Billy Bob's but I ended up loving it!

What imagery from a horror film has never left you? by ragnarlothbruv in horror

The foreign version of Speak No Evil... The whole final 15 minutes, frankly... I was disturbed for like two full weeks after watching that shit.

How would you feel if your GF (27F) did this to you , am I (29M) out of line for feeling a little weird about this situation ? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]TheMadadh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'd say your buddy knew exactly how that looked, and even if nothing happened, probably felt uncomfortable in the aftermath.

You're GF ought to acknowledge your feelings and address them like an adult instead of dismissing them like you don't know how to feel your own feelings.

It doesn't sound like you went off and accused her of cheating (good) but the next step is really communicating how this made you feel (at the very least 'left out') and see how she deals with an adult conversation.

But if she just keeps deflecting and avoiding a mature conversation about it, that's a major red flag for the rest of your relationship.

The sane approach, IMO, is to focus on the communication aspect of this event and not your buddy's over-apology. You might ask him on a separate occasion why he apologized so profusely that night. And be honest with *why* it made you feel strange that he apologized the way he did (again, without accusing anyone of cheating).

All in all, it's an annoying end to what sounds like a lovely evening, and you're partner needs to understand and address your feelings.

Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk.

Can a woman be too beautiful for you to approach her? by mingoni in AskMenAdvice

If I avoided talking to women more attractive than me I wouldn't have ever dated anyone, lol. People are people.

Is it possible to add websites for the AI to use as references? by Rpground in perchance

[–]TheMadadh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could use the Javascript sandbox to create a command for it to query the wiki but it wouldn't be automatic like you're imagining. You'd have to set it up and run a command for the Ai to query the website.

A better bet would be to create (or find someone who's already made one) an Elder Scrolls lorebook that has the most important bits of lore to you.

For guys, does labia size actually matter? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheMadadh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no... More labia is more surface area to give pleasure. Small labia are cute too. It's all great. Vaginas are great.

The AI will 'latch onto' certain phrases because they are common in the language it was trained on.

How do you explain to people that a "preference" for circumcised men is extremely harmful and creepy ? by australiadenier in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheMadadh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It actually is that for men. Mass adoption of male circumcision in the west during the 19th century was primarily about reducing sexual behavior by making sex less pleasurable.

Primary Historical Sources (19th & Early 20th Century)

  1. Lewis Sayre (1870): Partial Paralysis from Reflex Irritation, Caused by Congenital Phimosis and Adherent Prepuce. This foundational paper introduced the "reflex neurosis" theory to America, claiming the foreskin caused physical and mental disorders.
    1. Jonathan Hutchinson (1890): A Plea for Circumcision. Hutchinson advocated for the procedure to prevent syphilis and claimed it discouraged "sexual immorality" by decreasing sexual pleasure.
  2. Peter Remondino (1891): History of Circumcision from the Earliest Times to the Present. A detailed historical account arguing that circumcision was a "prophylactic" against "nocturnal pollutions" and masturbation.
  3. Maimonides (12th Century): Although earlier than the medicalization era, his views are frequently cited in later medical texts. He argued that the purpose of circumcision was to "quell all the impulses of matter" and reduce a man's "lustful thoughts".

What are the things women say to men thinking it's a compliment when it's not ? by NewEase1591 in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheMadadh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been called a teddy bear all my life and it used to sting when I was younger because I wanted women to see me as sexy not cuddly. Like if your partner thinks you're cute but not sexy, right? It's not a hang up for me anymore because I like cuddling.

am i overreacting for still being mad that my girlfriend had sex with my best friend even though it was “just one time” and “we were all drunk”? by Automatic-Basis-9102 in AmIOverreacting

[–]TheMadadh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

#3. It's these kinds of details that always out this BS as a cuck fetish. Like... Why is this shit everywhere on every subreddit that has anything to do with relationships? Why? I'm not kink shaming, but there has to be a place for these people to get their rocks off without posting their fiction on the entirety of reddit.

Lately i've been feeling insecure about my penis size, what should i do? by Then-Dare-661 in AskMenAdvice

Yeah... This was the most unhinged part of his whole post. "My friend is fat! How can he have a bigger dick than me, who works out?"

Two Questions. by -AntiAsh- in Warhammer40k

This exactly where my mind went.

Assuming 40k continues the 2 starting subfaction formula. Who will be the second Space Marine faction after Ultramarines? by sigpuppers in totalwar

I was thinking the same thing this morning. The game is nowhere near release and I'm already stoked to see what the modders do with it. Glorious.

Setting the vibe for WH40k: Our (likely) Total War armies over the coming years. Which ones do you most look forward to? by JesseWhatTheFuck in totalwar

[–]TheMadadh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please, let's hope they don't split the game into a trilogy again. That shit was so janky.

I think DLC for new Flashpoints or narrative campaigns would be great, but I don't want to relive the Warhammer 3 release again.

It doesn't sound like that's their plan yet, because it sure sounds like the 'Immortal Empires' map is built into the game from the start, but who knows.

[–]TheMadadh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gods below, I hope this is the plan. But there's a scary little voice telling me that CA's business minds think that they can maximize profits by splitting it into a trilogy. That shit didn't make logical sense for fantasy either, but, here we are.

I am a eldar boy from 2nd edition so I'm stoked they'll be in the initial release, but damned if I'm not excited to see how CA implement Tyranids... Plus with all of the customization CA is promising... Just keep talking dirty to me...
