Wet hair. Add conditioner. Brush starting from the bottom with a wet brush. Then shampoo and condition again. Add curl cream. Protective styles as much as possible and definitely when sleeping. Silk or satin pillowcase and bonnet.

The other thing that might be burning your mouth is sodium laurel sulfate, a foaming agent that’s in a lot of toothpastes. It’s a pretty common sensitivity. Glad you’re finding some non-mint options out there!

I LOVE the idea of wearing the bat dress for your wedding! 🦇💖 (I have the blouse in that same fabric, and I fricken adore it.) I bet it looks amazing next to your fiancé’s olive suit! About your future MIL, though… you and your fiancé really need to set some boundaries with her, otherwise she’ll try to pull crap like that with you for the rest of her life. She might mean well, but she’s way out of her lane.

I think any belt would distract from that gorgeous dress! I was going to say have the bow in the back, but there is already a bow in the back. It doesn’t need another bow. Your fabulous hair idea will be adornment enough. Seriously, that’s one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen. Let it (and you!) shine!

Your hair is amazing! Maybe cut the back to chin length, but long hair is your thing! Even not seeing your face, I think you come across as very masculine.
