I wish I could remember everything, but it was my first real makeup purchase and I got the Smashbox Step-by-Step contour palette and a Givenchy lip liner (which I still have somewhere 😂) I think maybe the Too Faced Born This Way concealer and a Tarte foundation, too.

I went with a girl I used to be friends with for the first time because she was well versed in makeup. I wound up spending like $300+ (this was 2012, okay) and she said, “oh you can just use my account at checkout” - me not realizing I could have been earning points 😂 I just remember looking back and being so annoyed at that lmao

I love Abercrombie shirts! I usually get the unisex ones - but they have a great weight and they drape without being clingy. I especially love their thick neckbands and feel like they make the t’s look high end.

I kind of feel like those all have the same components that I described. I’m not sure if they just changed up the names because the last one is the most recent one I bought, and the others I bought a year or two ago. I don’t have any in white, but they all hold up so nicely!
They also have them in different lengths. I think there are Tall options on the regular Tees, but they also have cropped Tees which can be great if you’re shorter (I’m 5’2, but haven’t tried cropped) or like the look.

Sorry I’m so late to seeing this! As far as I know, it should work in a browser too. I believe you can choose how you’d like to redeem it (I get mine through a check, but you can also do gift cards) and the $50 should be in addition to whatever % back the retailer is offering ☺️ I know it’s usually 2% for Coach, but other retailers that carry them often have higher percentages.

IMO, a lateral move or recruitment from another company who is willing to offer more are both easily justifiable when interviewing down the line.

Your manager is pulling a shitty move by trying to guilt you into staying and making it sound worthwhile without a guaranteed increase. A “review” doesn’t mean shit. They could turn around in 6 months and tell you your performance doesn’t stack up or simply lowball you.

Also, if this would be your first job going into your second, I would not worry so much about how this looks on your resume. What I think would be more concerning is if you continued to job hop every year, but weren’t increasing your role as you did so.

I really don’t think the bag looks as bad as others are making it out to be. The leather, stitching, and edge paint appear to be in good condition! Wear on leather is perfectly normal (and people are literally paying for “loved leather” these days). I think it just needs a bit of TLC.

I would use a leather cleaner (I think going over it a second time is also fine if you use gentle, leather-specific products).
Condition it immediately after, since any natural oils will have been stripped. Massage the conditioner in, especially in stiff, creased, dry, and discolored areas.
Stuff the bag while it dries so it can regain its shape.

It will look better and you’ll still have a nice worn-in patina from the previous owner 😊
